It's not the first time a journalist has been exposed in a similar fashion. I'm not detailing anything because I won't bring back old trauma from a scandal that has already been forgotten, but in this other case there were suspicions that it was someone in the victim's inner circle that new about his hobby and exposed him by giving a real name to the man that was playing on webcam chats. So for whatever it's worth I believe it'd be hard to determine if this was the work of a random user on the site that recognized and harassed him or if it were someone who knew him personally. It's a hard task but not an impossible one. Either way, this story is very sad. He was betrayed by someone that does not respect the idea of discretion when it comes to adult websites. Lurkers are everywhere but it's so sad to realize that there is no honor among people that like to showoff and watch or those that just enjoy watching. Imagine being on a hook up app and have your data leaked to your employers/family etc? That is just evil.
I'd like to know though: I didn't know there was a webcam chat on LPSG. Is there one actually?
Also, the people suggesting that Adame should start an OnlyFans should shut up and refrain from giving opinions. Not everyone that enjoys playing on webcams want to have a career in the adult industry. Saying that he could get rich if he finds a way to monetize this leak is not helpful at all, not to say plain cruel. There is nothing wrong with being a sex worker, but this man clearly enjoys his career as a journalist. Now he needs to carry the scarlet letter and go into porn full-time? What the hell?
I sincerely hope they catch the scumbag that did this to him and that this person is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

I assumed they meant he was on Chaturbate, someone took screen shots and video of him on Chaturbate and then posted them in a thread here. Notice the sexy weathermen thread is gone.
Of course it's beyond just posting to a thread here, but maybe that was one part of it, or one part of figuring out who sent the stuff to NY1.

Well, so in that case, I don't think there's anything he can blame on LPSG. It's not as if the images hadn't been removed upon request. Would he sue Twitter had the pics been posted on tweets?

Sounds from the news stories that he's going through the legal process of trying to get info on the leaker from LPSG, not that he blames LPSG full stop.

I doubt there is a way for to post any of the proof I have without getting trouble myself but as I said earlier it wasn't even 1 incident he was on CB regularly doing crazy stuff including having people over and recording them on livestream without their knowledge. Not saying he deserved to be exposed to his family or fired but yeah... The live stream I watched was from August 2021.
Thank you for this suggestion. I read it and see now that I had a few incorrect assumptions about things.
He could attempt to sue Twitter but I'm pretty sure they would block it under Section 230 and just purge the content...Given LPSG could claim the same but their Terms as well as Rules lean toward removing content upon request...now what that means for the privacy of the leaker's info idk? Much less what he'd get if he took said individual to court, bc in the world of copyright law who ever created the media holds the rights....not saying it doesn't suck for him but all screen grabs and recordings belong to whoever took them....what doesn't is anything that is stamped by CB or in other cases OF bc their logos and everything are their IP. Given he might be successful in the malicious intent and emotional turmoil claims bc of his lost job...but my guess if someone is that shady and evil they ain't going to have to money to pay out much less settle
