And he's managed to amass 200k followers and he's "written" this book based on this edited body. Yikes, probably doesn't know any better in which case I have sympathy

We make the most inappropriate and offensive jokes without ever intending any malice. I used to when I was younger until discussing it with non aussies who explained why it’s problematic. I don’t do it anymore. I shouldn’t have done it to start with either, but it honestly hadn’t crossed my mind at the time. That is literally what my own white privilege is. Not stopping to second guess my comments. I never would have said anything with any actual intent to upset anyone though. It would have always been for a laugh, but I get why it isn’t ok now. Cancel culture dissuades people from growing or improving. It expects everyone to be socially educated about everything at all times. People have had different lives and lived different experiences. I’m glad people have called me out on shit so I can see that I needed to change things. Hopefully he has changed in that way too.
I used to Gogo dance with him at a club years ago. He is nice (in my limited experience with him).

It’s probably just part of my own unhealthy obsession with social media and buildings followers for no apparent reason. Everyone does stuff for validation in some way. Whether it’s wearing nice clothes or styling your hair, or exercising to look a certain way. It’s so easy to judge people and be negative. Just let things be.
