The Icelandic song is by far the gayest one :biggrin1:
And the Dutch song is ridiculous, my nan likes it though. I'm not sure she's the demographic that votes in the ESC...

I think the UK should opt out.

I agree lukie, i did'nt like that one from 1997 at first but it did well to win. Is that you singing before your pre-op? :biggrin1:
The serb performer this year is the gayest looking but he says he is not....hmmmm.
The dutch one is an oddity for me, i liked it the first time i heard it and then the novelty of its 70's disco style wore off quick.
Yep, another miserable entry really for uk. :frown1:

I love the Eurovision, last year was actually pretty good, I'm hoping this year will continue the upward trend.

I'm quite liking the Moldovan entry purely for it's mondo-queso factor, and the Saxophony in it is tooooooo brilliant for words LOL But can you imagine if poor little Moldova won?!!?

The horrors! They can barely afford to keep themselves independent from Romania (!) let alone put on the Eurovision :(

Oh and that Albanian one is a world of crazy! Why is that old woman dressed like a 20 year old auditioning for the part of Ophelia? Why is she drawing Sperms on gravestones? Why is she having existential experiences with a suit of clothes in a pile of dead leaves? Why does she have toilet paper emanating from her person? God I love Eurovision!!!!!!!!!!!

If they were lucky to win then it would put Chisinau on the map for the first time ever. And i loved that saxophony too.
Lol, you've painted a whole new picture, that video is never gonna be the same again. :biggrin1:

LOL! Back just in time, Mitchy. ;)

Germany's one isn't bad. Niamh Kavanagh is back again for Ireland??
The Albanian one sounds a bit like womanizer lol.

They've made the UK one much crapper. :(
It was much better when it was first performed. Grrr.

Nah. It's not even bad enough to be good anymore since everyone performs in English. Just mediocrity and shitocrity galore.

I usually tune in just for the voting part at the end. Euro politics in its rawest form.

How anybody can sit through the entire thing Ill never understand.

I agree Joll, it was'nt much cop then but now it is just nauseatingly dull to listen to.
Sit? lol, i'm up and dancing haha, not really, it works kinda like a cult, if you are initiated young like me then its particularly hard not to sit and revel in its kitschness (spelling?)

I wonder if he'll take the Pineapple Dance Studios renta-slappers to the contest with him? Or have they also been quietly dumped. :biggrin1:

Well they did'nt make the video cut which had just him, a dark disco themed room where the disco part consisted of sparkles here and there. I failed to listen to the tune alteration of the song distracted by musing what on earth he has to smile about so much. All i remember of the video is a smile and that would'nt get him points unless he was naked with it!

I expect dancers will be back for the contest but no doubt they will be local fishwives cos blatantly we're not splashing the cash on this one.
