Thats the Mogg who yesterday during the debate was lying down on the government front bench having a nap. I wondered whether he was contemplating the possibilty than in a month's time he might no longer be an MP and have a right to nap in the commons chamber.
The debate was live on German television and I saw him lying there and wondered how someone could behave like this.
A disgrace

He has probably had some sleepless nights. On the other hand, someone said Theresa May left the debate smiling and laughing. Not her problem any more.

But Mogg has become a parody of the sort of honourable behaviour he claimed to stand for. Some MPs commented on it during the debate.

What I wondered was that so many MPs referred to the parliament as "class"... is it common?

Hammond it seems let slip that the bill they are currently trying to push through has already been checked if not constructed by EU lawyers prior to bringing to parliament, he has had the whip withdrawn and now his local constituency has deselected him.....good, whatever anybodies views on Brexit a working MP colluding with a foreign power cannot be right. Now we see who was driving the May car for the last 3 years.

So it has been checked by EU lawyers?
What a smart move, to make sure that their ideas and solutions are practical.

I understand that you are surprised. You might be used a different style of political work. May and now Boris aren't the best in being prepared - Boris even less... all he can do is telling lies.

His latest was yesterday as he said he would negotiate with the EU and a deal is close - while Berlin, Paris and Dublin say they haven't heard anything from Boris. He hasn't offered anything and his government isn't negotiating.

All he did was to undermine the British parliament and destroy his party.

most of the time you can watch european parliaments live on German television, if something important happens.

The breakup and new election of the Italian government was live as well...
You can say everything since the Greek finance crisis is.
He has probably had some sleepless nights. On the other hand, someone said Theresa May left the debate smiling and laughing. Not her problem any more.
I can imagen her laughing... it was Boris and his pals who made everything so difficult for her and now they are in a bad situation, created by themself.

That's what happens if you only think for the next two steps and always aim for your own benefits... there comes a time you will get the bill and it looks like Boris starts paying.

He thought of him as Boris, the PM who realized Brexit. A guarantee to be in history books.
Now he will be in history books as Boris the liar, Boris the wannabe dictator. The PM with the shortest period and the biggest fail.
But Mogg has become a parody of the sort of honourable behaviour he claimed to stand for. Some MPs commented on it during the debate.
That happens if you want to be too cool... it looked pathetic. Like a Gigolo out of the 19th century at an opium party - I guess at least his world view really is out of the 19th century

The house has spoken!
Boris has to obey

Like Corbin said...
Boris's Brexit plan is equal to the emperors clothes. There is simply nothing

Utter Chaos in the House of Commons. Tory Lords looking to filibuster with over 100 proposed amendments.

Some ignoramous told Jo Swinson to "sit down, love!" - quite disrespectful and sexist.

Boris is squirming in his seat. Quite addictive TV viewing, it must be said...

Rees-Mogg is the living evidence of the fraud British world domination was built upon, such as the superiority and civilization mission of the white race.

...

This shows indeed that the European states altogether matter for each other.

The talk is that it was drafted by the EU

The bill now has to go to the Lords, remain have already posted 102 amendments so far with likely more to come tomorrow which each have to be debated and voted on twice, the bill will likely time out.

We will see...
Jason made many predictions and most of the time failed. Take him as an example and better make none ;)

But let's say it really won't pass, what do you think people will say?
At first the not elected, not having a majority PM tries to shut down parliament to get his no deal and next non elected lords and Bishops block a law to stop the power drunk PM...
Doesn't sound as people would like it.

Unlike the EU who move to block the exit....
Why should they?
All this theatre is annoying... everyone will be happy as soon as you leave.
The problem is the British class of politicians, not the EU.
It has always been Britain asking for more time.

If Boris can't deliver, you will have to ask for 3 more month... the EU will agree, or reject. I doubt the EU would be happy to give you more than 3 month.

Get your shit together and find a leader who is able to find a majority for at least something.

Which people the British public or the interested parties in the EU?

People want it done, the strong entrenched views of the likes of posters on here do not represent the general public, most 'ordinary' people are sick of the delay and uncertainty, they just want to Brexit and move on with domestic issues.

Boris will be admired for having the balls to do the job that others have pissed about with for 3 years, in a GE the Brexit party are already talking of a Brexit pact to not split the leave vote in safe Tory seats and the tories will reciprocate in Labour seats that they cannot win but the BP can so splitting the Labour vote.

Corbyn has shit all over his core midlands/Northern working class voters, they will not support him.

I think Boris will get his GE and win it.
