I get why people don't like PPV but I've literally spent hundreds & hundreds of hours, tens of thousands of dollars on traveling to make content. I genuinely could not afford to keep making content without it. I have friends who charge wayyy more having a lot less on their page, and make triple what I do with much less work lol. Content creators are real people running a business & many of us don't make as much as you'd think

I agree that you need to make enough money to cover the overhead costs of being your own boss. This is a business after all. I'm not condemning anyone for doing so, that's their choice entirely.

Paying for a subscription just to be asked to pay more for the content that was advertised on your social media is not my cup of tea. It's not a business model I choose to support at this time. I've done it in the past, but that was because I had that knowledge before I chose to subscribe. Learning that after the fact isn't a fun feeling and makes me less inclined to support further.

This is just my opinion though
