Thanks for starting this thread. I am curious about how people from other countries feel about what the right wing and their loud mouthed propagandists say and do. I have a very strong feeling that many see this stuff and just shake their heads. It's hard to feel good about our country in the eyes of the rest of the world when we have such hatred spewed from the right.

You're really stretching the facts, aren't we? How about we analyze the actions of Jessie Jackson, Jeremiah Wright and Von Brunn further... you know, since you're now trying to draw a parallel between them all just on statements. Does Jeremiah Wright or Jessie Jackson have a website that called to action violence against Jews & politicians? Do either of them claim that the Holocaust doesn't exist? Did any of them tried to attack the Federal Reserve building in a similar fashion a few decades ago?

Should Jeremiah Wright & Jessie Jackson be taken to town for racist statements? Of course... they should know better than to say stupid stuff like that. However, none of their rhetoric has sparked their listeners to go out and kill someone, nor do they endorse or condone violence against Jews, nor are they domestic terrorists. They, along with Von Brumm, have a right to say whatever they want even if it's flawed, inflammatory or even bigoted at times. However, when one decides to go into a public building and shoot people up based on those beliefs, THAT'S a problem.

It's not enough to just go after every single person whose said something bad about Jews unless you're willing to ignore the 1st Amendment and are trying to silence every single person out there from taking about them in a negative light. However, actions speak louder than words. Wright and Jackson are not threats to anyone. Von Brumm was, and he was a repeat offender. This isn't hate, nor is this trying to be an apologist for "liberals". This is just the facts as they stand at this moment. But as soon as the first leftist loony comes into play and shoots Gilbert Godfried in the name of freedom I'll look you up.

First, the obvious, neither (despite their other personal flaws) never killed anyone. Neither wrote books that are so full of hate and vitriol that it makes you doubt our shared humanity. Al Sharpton is just as guilty as Hannity, O'Reiley or Beck when it comes to making racist remarks and inciting violence that sometimes leads to the death of innocent people. And not only towards the Jewish community, but also to the Arab community as well. I don't think you'll hear anyone speak of him as any kind of positive role model on this board by any means.
