This is terrible advice, don't listen to this. Pulling out is most certainly not a reliable form of birth control. I have a third child as a result. But I was in a long term committed relationship, so it wasn't a big deal. If you most definitely don't want to have a kid, don't think that only pulling out is a good idea.

Condoms have a much higher efficiency rating if used properly! In my own personal experience, I had 100% effectiveness with close to 1000 uses with a woman who was not on any form of birth control. Only one condom broke during intercourse, but I noticed the change in sensation (felt too good!), withdrew, removed the broken one, replaced it, and plunged back in.

• rolling it on correctly and as far as it will go on your shaft
• using lube when necessary to help prevent breakage
• withdrawing after orgasm while still hard, and also holding the base of the condom, to ensure no slippage or spillage

With my girth, condom slippage was never an issue, but there are many size options available now to ensure a good fit.
