Would love to comment but have no clue where this is headed.
Input exceeds output can mean constipation but somehow I didn’t think that wa the point.

Lol.

I was going more with the amount of energy (mental or otherwise) it takes to get through the day exceeds the positive energy returned. Operating at a net loss (emotionally?).

Yes...It doesn't happen often, but when it does I feel completely drained and exhausted...and I usually want to just be left alone for a while. Hope your day gets better, man...life if really not pointless. I know it's cliche, but think of your blessings....even on a bad day they are more than I can count.

One week ago yesterday on Dec 10th I had major back surgery that lasted into the evening. They tell me I got to my room around 8pm. I was released home last Friday but honestly today is the first day where the cobwebs aren’t winning.
I’m exceedingly blessed to be surrounded by friends who are pouring themselves into me As I struggle with a lot of pain and limited movement. This is a revision of a surgery I had in Feb of this year. The pics include the screws that were replaced.
So my point is when you feel empty, pour yourself into something or someone else and the deficit may be filled in pouring yourself out.

The very best of luck forward for you!

Didn’t mean to minimize a day that sucks the life out of you. I agree with @aldawg Count your blessings dear man. Each day is a wonderful and precious gift. Sending you love and hugs. I’m always open to PM chats. Feel free to hit me up if you’d like to chat.
