VinylBoy sez: As if any of the teabaggin' types from our peanut gallery could even afford the admission price. I'm sure they'll be doing that from the comforts of their own couch via webcast or through Fox.

The US was founded on individual liberty and freedom - I will through a "teabag" in my pool in honor of those attending. Vince - too bad the Canucks didn't have the courage to tell the Queen to go away!!! BF2K

I rest my case.

Although I am a big fan of the perfectly succinct comment, someone may need to explain that to the poster, at least the part not easily picked up on spellcheck. Probly the rest of it too, oh criminy, why bother.
Serious about crashing the shindig, y'all. PM me if interested.

Okay, now I rest your case too. who's chevez?

At least he got up off the couch to throw the teabag in the pool. BF's a regular minuteman he is.

That's 'through' the teabag in the pool, not 'throw'. Can you not read, or are you deliberately misquoting, like that Trinity creature?
Y'all come to Nashburg for this, it'll be hilarious, I promise!

It was deliberate because I'd just come off the grammar nazi thread and didn't want to be one myself. Anyhow, the "teabag in the pool" comment couldn't have been more funny... or odd.

hahahaha they truly are a sad group, attempting to cleverly hide their racism as civic duty . Nothing more than pure Hypocrisy !!!!!
I seriously wonder if they believe the venom they spew or if they are just so blinded in their racial bigotry they see no other justification for their HATE-FILLED rhetoric all in the name of JESUS CHRIST . WHAT A FUKIN JOKE !!!

I see the teabaggers have endorsed BROWN in the MA. Senate race, that is reason enough for Moderates and Independents to stay far away from BROWN

Yes, thank you. I know you were being deliberate. I was being deliberately ironic. Y'all come!

Of particular interest is that only Fox News, Breitbart.com, Townhall.com, The Wall Street Journal, and World Net Daily are recognized as "official" news outlets -- granted media credentials -- covering the fab confab. That totally spans the gamut of viewpoints in the Free World from A to B, doesn't it? And this from the people who scream about a state-run media? :biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1:

Oh, how benevolent. They invited Tim Kaine. To do what -- be hung in effigy? 'Cause that's really going well these days.

I've decided to jump on the Tea Bag Band Wagon. It's a sure money maker. I've just hired a bunch of Oaxacan craftsmen to churn out shiny pins showing Michael Steele and Sarah the Palindrone on their knees giving head to Glen Beck and Plush Rush. Thousands will be available for sale in brown wrapping paper at the Nashville Tea Baggers party. And who doesn't like shiny things? I can't miss. I expect to make gazillions. Anyone having doubts about my political sincerity needs to click on the following link:

I can help on the distribution end, for a reasonable commission of course. Hey, it's the American way. :usa2:
I'm serious, y'all come! We got room in the corn crib, if you don't mind sleeping with the hogs.

Here again, we have a number of libs hyperventilating and crying about about an organized effort by U.S. citizens to be heard in relation to government behavior/spending, etc.

These are not racists gathering or spreading hate; despite what Keith Olbermann will have you believe. These are primarily successful, career-oriented taxpayers who have a constitutional right to question their government.

Sure, there are a few idiots which the liberal news outlets manage to trap in interviews that expose knowledge defiencies and such, but the majority of those that attend are well educated.

The fearmongering and outright hysteria promoted by the liberals is laughable and ridiculous. The hysterical screaming and whining is childish. Maybe some of you should observe and learn from the Tea Parties instead of hiding under a table and heckling about something in which you don't have the faintest idea.

Everyone knows what a damn tea party movement is about, silly. Even dirty libs. The sad thing is, people who attend a Tea Party seem to think it's about protesting against government spending and it's not. At least, not when you look past the glitzy bullshit, the hype and the fake moralistic banter to get to the real issues.

So, do you really think this is about protesting all of the spending in government, knowing full well you'd have no problem if that money was spent by our military to protect you from Mohammed? You really think it's about not trusting government, knowing full well that you rely on that same government to defend you from panty bombers? You or anyone one else aren't fooling a soul. But please, respond with your usual, "libs don't know what they're talking about" just to further illustrate that they actually do.

The 'teabaggers' are, in my humble opinion, primarily a collection of fringe right-wing loons who have gathered together to protest what they perceive as threats to their own individual self-interests, be they economic, racial, social or otherwise. They just don't want to share the pie.

This reveals itself in astounding and ironic contrast to the actual goals of the American Revolution and the seminal event from which the 'baggers' borrow their name. They exhibit an astonishing ignorance of American history and the meaning and purpose of those events, e.g. shared sacrifice and common goals in the pursuit of liberty, the common good, and justice for all. Astonishing, but hardly surprising.

As they are simply protesting against what they don't like with no clearly defined purpose or common goal, they will splinter and eventually disintegrate, just like other such movements that have come and gone. (Hey, y'all remember Ross Perot's 'Reform' Party, dontcha?) If you look at them right now, this process has already begun.

Sadly, the remnants will remain with us as an irritant, just like elements of the religious right. Like zombies, they never really die, so we must remain ever vigilant and prepared to meet the threat whenever they raise their ugly heads. To wit:

Can I get a heckle here?
Wish I had the faintest idea what I was talking about.
Guess I've got a lot to learn. Maybe I should just go hide under the table.

Your perception, which is incorrect, is shared by most in the liberal community. These groups/meetings were catalyzed by the stimulus bill, and extend to other areas of increased taxation and spending by government. There are no social or racial initiatives. The participants are not fringe, nor are they loons any more than loons make up any group/gathering.

?? What? TEA - Taxed Enough Already. There is no revolution and we are not trying to liberate from English tyranny. A group of citizens share a concern for harmful long-term results of aggressive gov't spending.

This is a fantasy. You are giving this movement way too much credit.

Not about Obama and his "differentness"?? Then where were the Teabaggers while GWB was running up the deficits. Their silence under his administration tells me everything I need to know.

What I wonder is, where were all these people while the previous administrations were taxing and borrowing and spending like drunken sailors? I don't buy the argument that this one has done any worse under the circumstances. The deficits were high before, very high. And yet there was barely a peep out of these people. Did Fox News ever run the kind of economic coverage on the Bush admin that they have on the one that inherited this big mess? No. I don't recall Mr. Beck and Co. enticing the masses to protest Republican economics.

No... the veneer is too thin and not very well glued down on this piece of cheap furniture. One can see through it very well and the name of the game is politics pure and simple. Some simple, honest people are being led around be their very willing little noses. Pawns in the same old game.

I wish Obama were white so everybody couldn't play the race card anytime somebody questions the administration.

Using your rationale - where are all the anti-war protesters now that Obama is in office? They were everywhere - actors, singers, commercials -- all going nuts in unison over being in Iraq/Afghan.

Now they have disappeared. The singers and actors have clammed up. Sean Penn, Susan Surandon, Pink - all the sudden nothing to say anymore. Tim Robbins, the rest of the Hollywood dipshits. Why the sudden change in heart?

Well, to be fair, the whole thing was spear-headed by Glenn Beck. Glenn doesn't necessarily speak to the whole of the Republican audience, just the more racist, xenophobic, distrustful element.

No, it was the single day presidential fundraiser "money bomb" for Ron Paul on Dec 17th, the anniversary of the Boston Tea party that set it off.

then, like everything else Ron Paul, after laughing and belittling him, the republicans saw it was catching fire in their party, so instead they co-opted him, and his talk, and said they were the real deal.

Now assholes like Glenn Beck are running around calling themselves Libertarians because they shit so badly on their Republican plate that they are going to try and steal the Libertarian lunch. And with the help of the media, who loves whatever philosophy that steals money and gives it to the banks that own everything, they will get what they want.

They will also, in due time, get what is coming to them.

Ross Perot's
Who was the only presidential candidate to oppose the Iraq war in 1992?

Who was the only candidate to oppose NAFTA in 1992?

You enjoying your little left-right illusion? Hows that NAFTA working out for you now?
Not about Obama and his "differentness"?? Then where were the Teabaggers while GWB was running up the deficits.
In the Ron Paul campaign. The original tea party protests were dominated by Ron Paulies. It wasn't until Glenn Beck and his Sept. 12th campaign that they became dominated by idiots using the constitution to justify murder, empire and stupidity.

successful

PFft, if you consider successful to mean ignorant and too fat to walk on your own accord.
