Went to the exotic erotic ball in SF several years ago, it was fun and the costumes very sensual though they ran a-z. Just wondering if any of you have gone. Great place to show off those bodies.

I've always wanted to go-- I first heard about it from HBO's Real Sex and it seemed like it would be a blast
I've also wanted to check out Fantasy Fest in FLA and Southern Decadence in NO and Dore Alley in SF

So many things but so little $$ and time off

Erotic Exotic Ball? Fun dress up costume party for the vanilla crowd.

Southern Decadence? Great party and excuse to run around the streets drunk and naked.

Dore Alley? Very gay male, legitimate S/m orientation.........the best for pure sexuality.

Folsom Street? The biggest, mixed and turning in to a "posers" paradise.

Been to these and more, many times. Never miss Southern Decadence or Dore Alley. But I take Leather seriously.

Ah, Southern Decadence, one of the hottest gay parties in the world! New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has issued an Official Proclamation welcoming Southern Decadence. Bringing nearly $100 million in revenue to New Orleans, it's little wonder. How's that for a gay-friendly city?

Yes, you will. But hurry and make your decision. All the good hotels (location, location, location) are just about, or already sold out. Check out the Southern Decadence website. They have links to the hotels and their sites as well as good info., maps, times, etc.

hint, hint: Check directly with the hotel or their individual websites. Rates are often better than through the S.D. website.

If you live in a Southwest Airlines city, usually best fares. AA next.

I love Dore Alley and Folsom in San Francisco. I know people say that Folsom is becoming too mainstream and commercialized, but pleeeeeze.... We don't have very many opportunities to put our sexuality on display in public, so I'm thrilled that it's as popular as it is.

I wish I could like New Orleans and everything that goes on there, but since I don't drink alcohol, I don't find it very appealing.

I want to go to Folsom in Berlin sometime - maybe not this year, but definitely next year. I think that could be a great adventure. B-) Has anyone attended?
