I'm seeing quite a few posts that have to do with political experience as it relates to this year's presidential contest.
However, this year, it's not about experience. Hillary Clinton tried to make it about experience; that's wasn't what got people excited. And John McCain ... before the Republican convention ... tried to make it about experience ... and was hanging several points behind Obama in the national polls.
McCain had a learning curve that Clinton didn't. He tapped into the hunger for change on both ends of the political spectrum, picking Sarah Palin, and got a boost.
Argue about experience all you want. It's not the deciding factor this year.
