Since reading through this thread, I have thought of a couple of suspicious cases. These are, or appear to be, very attractive young women on whose gallery pictures I posted admiring comments and to whom I eventually sent personal messages: each replied politely but very briefly. At the time, I took that to mean, "Not interested," but now it looks to me like a sign that they are not women at all.

One of them has gallery pictures that include nude pictures of another absurdly hot girl, supposedly her "on and off ex"; the other has just three pictures, one of which (I always suspected but now have to admit) does not look as though it shows the same body as in the other two. I looked up their histories of posts. Neither of them has posted much, or given away much information about herself. One of them in one post gives advice to a man about removing back hair, supposedly based on what "her" "gym buds" report. The other says in one post that "there is no such thing as too much cum," which is not an opinion that I have otherwise heard from a woman.

I am tempted to identify them here, but I am not sure whether I should do so without stronger evidence.

Best not to as false accusations can cause serious difficulties for the one accused. I would suggest PMing one of the real ladies who could take a look for themselves and give you a second opinion. I nominate Spoiled Princess if she's willing to help you. You could also PM the ladies in question and tell them that you are having doubts as to their veracity and why (they might send you more pics to clarify:wink.

In general I would urge people not to out members based solely on suspicion. Without proof of some kind it's just a nasty allegation. What if the suspicion were wrong? Posting it publically is just as damaging as if it were actually true. Very few people will take the time to uncover the truth for themselves, so they'll just accept an accusation as fact. It's nearly impossible to prove a negative and who wants to have to prove themselves? I know I'm never putting my snatch on webcam just to satisfy some stranger's curiosity.

In a case like this where the originals were found there is enough to justify a name and shame, but without proof it's just mudslinging. Pity BV has chosen not to address this issue with anything other than the removal of the gallery pics.

I've seen pics I've seen somewhere else but I can never remember where but I also wonder why the people who steal pics don't have the intelligence to steal them off a more obscure site than they seem to, the best one I've seen was someone who posted pics of Keira Knightly on newbienudes and insisted they were hers

I had a woman on an adult personals site post some pics that were just terrific. Not too long after that, I was making my usual rounds among some porn sites, and my eye first caught the exact same tits as in the personal ad, then realized that all the pics were of the same person. I googled for the model's name (Crissy Moran) and eventually found the same pic, and its accompanying photo session, that was used in the ad.

To "her" credit after I called her out, she didn't try to take credit for the pictures.

Sounds right to me. I'm glad I didn't name them. I just discussed them by PM with Drifterwood, who shares my suspicions, and I will be glad to name the two suspects to anyone who writes to me. Maybe someone has seen some of their pictures somewhere else.

I do believe she was a woman simply from the way she wrote and her point of views. Maybe she is just very insecure. So now I feel bad, like I lost a friend, which I know is silly since I didn't really know her, but still....

Maybe a sense of acceptance that they wouldn't ordinarily get. I have encountered upset wives who posted nude pics of themselves on sites to get the compliments that their spouses didn't. My wife actually did that a few years back for validation when we were having issues.

Whatever the motivation, I think it is rooted in loneliness and a need to be appreciated and loved. Which is why I say love yourself first, then come play online. The person a faker hurts most is themselves and there is no need for it. In all sincerity, I feel a little down for the fakers. They feel this is the only way to be loved and that makes me sad for their plight.

I can hear you all now going "WHAT?!?!", but I do tend to try and empathize rather than condemn.
