It was wonderful!

I first asked him if he wanted to get some ice cream and then we were talking and having a good time. He invited me back to his place where we watched a movie and 3/4 into the movie he moved in closer and closer and he kissed me. I responded back with a kiss and we just went at it all night and every other day we've been doing the same thing.

A bit off topic but I've never understood the problem with dating an ex's friend (or in this case brother) or a friend's ex. What's past is past. Everybody's somebody's ex. And it's a small world after all. If dating someone in the past cuts you off from dating their whole social circle in the future you run out of options pretty quickly. BUT if you're still close (and in this case that includes the whole family) then it's a different story.
