Can that be caught from underwear? I'm not sexually active and the only contact with another person was through purchasing brand-new underwear (aussiebum which suck!)

Unless you are a virgin, it could have laid dormant for years. I also could be mistaken, but if someone gave you a blow job and they had a cold sore, it’s possible you could get it that way?

Psoriasis will form on the penis. I had patches on my back and legs. The doctor asked if it was on my dick, and I said no. He said "it will develop there in time" So I had to use a prescription to help suppress my immune system to stop it. This may be what is going on, but like the others said, see a doctor, and try not to stress over it until you have a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan. Good luck to you!

Suppressing the immune system sounds very scary. Were you on the prescription for long? Did you become ill afterwards?
I would not go for the prescription drugs other than the topical. The internal types of drugs had to many side affects for me. They have some sort of light treatment available now but takes commitment once it is started which don't have so never tried it. The problem has gotten somewhat worse with the advent of socialized medicine here in the USA. To many things won't be paid for or only to a set amount. The topical drugs keep the itching under control but the skin tissue discoloration patches are still noticeable.

Just came back from the Dr. He said it's dermatitis, not a concern at all. I said It's also 'down below' and he just said it's the same. Int he end I whipped it out and he said there's nothing to worry about, skin is hard to diagnose and he "doesn't really know what it is".

Got a prescription for Betnovate 0.1% cream.

He went to answer his mobile phone twice during my 10 minute consultation. Not a great Dr but at the same time I'm not really concerned, unless it gets worse.

I have a specific red LED light for skin and muscle healing which is good for a lot of thing, but sadly didn't help my current issue.

He is saying about the same thing I have heard from physicians here in the USA as well. Many times though we only get to see the physician when he pops in for a few seconds and then moves on to the next. We usually see the PA and this situation is much worse in last 10 - 12 years. Glad to hear you did get a professional opinion though. That topical creme is about the same as what I was prescribed, I usually have them prescribe the ointment though.
