Especially now the director also directing the Brave and the Bold movie!
If he's not fired for this flop, of course (and I say that as someone who likes Muschietti's past movies). Or if it gets made at all. Remember The Trench? The New Gods movie? Batgirl? Wonder Woman 3? The Cyborg movie? The Deathstroke movie?

Now more than ever before they are going to want to shed all ties to this past flop era. It is entirely possible that will include Muschietti despite their being defiant about Flash right up til the weekend it died at the box office. It will definitely include canning Ezra. But even then there's no guarantee a lot of James Gunn's DC movies also won't vanish from the slate just like all those old ones did.

Gunn has an impossible task ahead. I knew Flash would fail but even I didn't think every single other DC movie would fail to perform financially if not critically, and I think they've been bad from the jump lol. I bet Aquaman eats it too.

Blue Beetle and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom should go to Max but they won't. It is what it is.

I wouldn't fire Andy Muschietti from The Brave And The Bold but he has a challenge ahead of him.

Still though he got a great performance from Ezra Miller in The Flash.
well for blue beetle the blue beetle does get naked in the comics

- early showings poorly finished
- bad ggi
- ezra miller and his polemics
- sold like it was the best movie in the world
- stupid holdings
- DCEU ending in a poorly explained way

the film was praised for its script and performances, including ezra, but it was obvious that it would fail at the box office for these factors.

by the post credits scene it is confirmed that ezra is not coming back and neither is jason momoa so in the future andy muschietti will do very well with the batman movie

So no one has got any better quality footage yet?
I'll let you know in about 45 minutes, found what looks like possibly a more clear copy
(Dear Warner Bros/FBI if you're reading this I am seeing the movie in person again tomorrow so don't arrest me)

he only participated in the film, according to the post credits scenes, the batman of the old DCEU is george clooney, in the new dcu of james gunn he will be a young 34-year-old actor, also confirming that ezra will no longer be the main flash, and that the aquaman 2 movie may take place before the flash.

According to Variety the film is underperforming. I don’t believe it’s because of
Ezra (specifically). I think it’s a mix of superhero fatigue and the reboot of the DCEU.
Fans know the film connects to nothing so the stakes are meaningless.

The ending made it clear that the movie was made for nothing. and they had a chance to reshoot scenes to make the ending "connected" for the new DCU but it just played the theory that ezra and the cast of justice league won't be from james gunn's dcu. aquaman 2 will suffer a lot.

Also the cast barely did any press for it. Ezra because of their problems, but also Keaton (in the UK shooting Beetlejuice 2) and Affleck (who was MIA). The WGA strike meant no talk shows, no Saturday Night Live… and at the end of the day, yeah, this film still has the stale odor of Snyderverse on it, and people know it’s been rejected.
