I was about to start a thread like this, but figured there was already one for such a common topic.
I've just recently started to grow mine out and keep it at a manicured beard. Its not really a beard as much as it is a thicker chin-strap, but regardless, I've been loving the hell out of it. I started in October because I wanted a change and it seemed appropriate with the oncoming fall/winter season. It's nice to no longer have such a babyface, people treat me like I'm an adult now, its lovely!
The funniest observation I've made so far is that other men with beards will humbly acknowledge that I have one. It's like a strange, unspoken brotherhood, which I find charming, considering how essentially trivial it is.
Just my 2 cents.
