im 23 now didnt start growing chest hair till a cpl months ago and they are weee lil hairs lol

Obviously all your testosterone and other puberty hormones were fully used up producing that impressively massive rod of yours! If you don't have to shave and look a lot younger than you are, enjoy it! There'll be plenty of years later on when you wished you looked young again. ;-)

I was 18 when shaving became a routine. Like most young guys I was excited about this, but having to allow enough time to shave, shower, dress, fix breakfast, catch the train, etc., shaving became just one more task to perform. My beard filled in and it became quite dense requiring the use of the razor twice daily. Now I shave at night just before my shower, and that is it. Sometimes I skip shaving and just go scruffy for the next day. Genetics will determine the density of your beard and its appearance. You are a guy, so facial hair is in your future.

I think I hold the LPSG record on this one.I didn't have to shave until I was 23... and its still not fully in yet!! My cheeks are still smooth and hairless. I don't have to shave above my jawline. I used to get teased sometimes because people thought that since I didn't grow hair on my face, it must mean I don't have hair anywhere else. But I did. Everything else was developed except my face.

I didnt have to shave till my late 20's and it was not fully in...hit about 32 and I furred over friggin bearish now..lol

I'm in the same boat with most of the previous posters, I've been shaving since about 17 and will easily have a 5:00 shadow. I find it ironic bc, if it wasn't for the stubble, I have a babyface!!

I quit shaving when I got out of the Navy. I do clean up my neck and cheek bones so I'm not mistaken as wolfman

At 18, my mustache was so light, people thought it was from drinking milk. Couldn't grow a decent beard until my late 20's -- though the mustache was still thinner than the beard. Now in my fifty's, the beard and mustache are very thick. I shave the neck area under the beard, but nothing else. And I mean, NOTHING ELSE.

I didn't start shaving everyday till I was 19, when I was 15 16 I felt a little left out, but now I envy those days. Shaving is like nature's way of completely wasting men's time everyday.

I think I first started shaving when I was 16 or so. Thing is, I'd only have to shave every week or so. Now, I could shave every day, but I choose not to. Instead I just keep a beard and trim my neck hair down to stubble.

My dad gave me a razor when I was 12. He ask me if I thought I knew how to use it. Then he told me to use it. I had a dark mustache and lots of fuzz. Before I turned 13, I had to shave everyday.

Right, I'm almost 19 now and bar a few I have no facial hair what so ever. Lack of stubble really makes me look young, especially compared with my friends. When did everyone here first start shaving?

Started shaving regular at 13, grew a mustache and beard at 14. Meanwhile I have a brother with patchy face hair even to this day.
