FACT: 98% of Americans are getting a tax cut this year.

Why do people keep saying Obama is going to raise taxes because he's a "socialist" when it's a plain and undeniable fact that most people are getting a tax cut? Ask any accountant.

This legislation was opposed by every single Republican because the richest 2% of the country weren't in on this tax cut. The teabaggers are still upset, of course, since this is somehow more evidence of "socialism".

I called them asking about a clarification on student loan interest deductions, and the lady knew to remind me about the form I have to file because I receive regular payments through a foreign trust. Hmmmm. . . I'm not complaining nor do I doubt that between 95% or 98% of US citizens paid less taxes to the IRS in 2009 than in 2008. I, somehow, paid more. But not a lot more. Business keeping the cowboys and miners drunk in Nevada has been good. Food service sales are up, too.

But the Tea Bag people will never admit the truth once they figure out they have paid less to the IRS than last year. No one ever likes to admit he or she is wrong. Just look at the He/She and Holy It as a perfect example of how wrong one can be and ignore the truth.
