On the show I saw yesterday, there were two obvious gay guys....one was so flamboyant, it was ridiculous. This is what gives homosexuals a badder name.

Live and let live! As long as they aren't hurting you, who gives a rat's ass. Life is waaay to short for that kind of thinking.

I find the use of the term "faggot" to be the most offensive of any used in gay-bashing. I don't care if it comes from the gayest of the gay, it offends me more than I can express in mere words.

Dirty Videophile, I don't have to explain to you why that is, do I?

Short of putting your penis in some dudes ass, or rubbing your vagina against some woman's vagina, how does one act gay?

I am getting real tired of all these threads lately that are bashing gays. Actually, I am getting real tired of all negative comments about this group or that group or whomever.
    Stop being so judgemental.
Oh and one more thing, since when is "badder" a word.

I think the word that is widely used is CAMP , which for some reason is tarred to gay men. Which is pathetic the term camp means over the top or an exaggeration of expression or just damned annoying which everyone is capable of doing I know gay blokes how make straight guys look gay and as for looking gay, HELLO aint we living in a metrosexual society these days , apparently its cool too look gay or are you gay just because you care about your appearance in that case nearly all the straight blokes that I know must be gay, And I agree with Altered Ego how would u even know unless you actually seen the people in question in the act !!!!

My brother feels the same way. He is in the media and despises how these daytime shows (especially Jerry Springer) purposely go out and target the showy "sterotype" gay men. I'm straight and I find it insulting.

Just think some of the characters in La Cage Aux Folles or The Birdcage.

I think it is more the irritating stereotype that causes the bad name when it is glamourized on the media.

I realised that when I quoted you in that reply it did not work as it should have. I deleted it. If you look at your post I was referring to you will see what I mean

In the heat of the moment, sometimes my grammar goes out the window. My point, which I hope is not being lost here, is that there seems to be a lot of negativity going on here regardless of sexual orientation or race or religion.
If this is truly a support group then let's support each other and not drive wedges among us.
Thank you all for listening and apologies for grammatical mistakes past, present and future.
