Some people have parents that remarry later in life. That usually leaves the child with a step-brother or sister. Keep in mind ther is no blood between you and her/him. Would you go for it or do you find it wrong.
Depending on the jurisdiction this tends not to be covered under incest laws. They typically define incest as sexual relations between blood relations of the immediate family. Incest often gets lumped in with child abuse, and I do not think anyone on this forum that would openly approve of sexual relationships between an adult and minor, no matter if the relationship is between consenting or non-consenting partners.
Of course the Terms of Service for this forum defines incest much more broadly...
incestuous is any relations performing in sexual acts together, regardless of their age or relation to each other (brother/sister/father/mother and so on).
Interestingly there seems to be movement in the laws in the US that would not criminalize incest between consenting adults. Lawrence v. Texas the case that struck down sodomy laws against same sex and opposite sex sodomy may have also opened the door to legalizing incest between consenting adults. The US Supreme court in Lawrence vs Texas held that intimate consensual sexual conduct was part of the liberty protected by substantive due process under the Fourteenth Amendment.
Some argue that if this ruling strikes down sodomy laws it could also be used to eliminate prohibitions against other sexual acts between consenting adults, including incest.
