finally, the true nature of the obama haters has a religious nutcase spokesperson: Steven anderson of tempe, arizona. His absurd and stupid tirade only furthers the case of progressive liberalism and secular government in the u.s. Long live cap and trade, the public health care option, the demise of doma, dont ask dont tell and the end of the psychotic bush regime.

It's the hidden eleventh commandment - Thou shall pray to me for the death of humans you don't like for whatever reason. So sayeth the shepherd, so sayeth the flock!!!

I wonder if the FBI or Secret Service ever follow up on these threats to the current POTUS as they undoubtably did with Bush they younger, Clinton, Bush the elder, the napping Reagan, and all other previous presidents?

If anyone on the board bothered to answer the above question. Please realize that it's pointless. Doubtlessly, the response would be to either...

    a) Attack a point which isn't 100% support by facts.

"Obama is passing national health care and regulating the banks."

"WRONG! See Obama isn't really regulating the banks because he just bails them out and lets them do cock all. Where's your proof that OBIMBO is regulating banks? Even if he is BUSH DID THAT tooo!"

    b) Attack the point with a counter point that has everything to do with belief in a stance then the actual point of the question.
"He's with drawing the troops from Iraq".

"Not on time, and he's just sending them to Afghanastan which BUSH WAS FIGHTING THEY ARE THE SAME WAR."

    c) Attack the poster as a "libtard", obamawashed, or various insults about the persons mother.

Save yourself some time. Don't bother.

Imagine that.... I want something supported by facts.

Got any Obama is regulating the banks? What about that pay czar? Has he done anything? What about his cabinet full of finance industry stooges?

What? Nothing? Yeah, Bush did nothing too.

Never. When Obama leaves office, we will still ahev at least 20,000 troops in Iraq. By 2012, there wills till be at least 50,000. You can take that to the bank.

Your mom sucks cocks in hell.

What a strange fucking post. You tried to preemptively attack with the truth. I am not sure how you thought you were deflecting any criticism. I'm sorry if the truth gets in the way of your fantasies of Obama being the president you thought he was going to be when you voted for him. Fuck, I liked him too. I remember calling a friend into my room to watch a youtube of him handling some dudes protesting in Florida. It was righteous, and I thought, hey, maybe Obama will be an alright guy, defintiely better than McCain.

But no. He proved to either be gutless, or worse, he was just plain deceptive when he was campaigning, and knew he would not do anything about torture, rendition, wiretapping, bailouts or the wars. Even if I give him the beneift of the doubt, and say it was the former, he has still been nothing but a disappointment. Just another empty suit.

Gee I just don't know what to say  I think his own words paint him as a nutjob extraordinaire.

Oh and the guy who showed up with an AR15 rifle to a rally a while back attends the preacher's church. :AR15firing:

Who the fuck cares what some stupid ignorant fucking preacher says! WHO CARES!!?

It's a fucking distraction! Did that preacher take all your money so he could keep eating lobster every night!? Hell no, that was the government and the bankers. Is that preacher slaughtering people in a racist genocidal war? NO!

Yeah, that preacher is the big bad guy! He is the one we should all look out for. In fact he is so bad, the media puts him on TV so he can say his stupid shit, and mild racists and homophobes can turn their heads to each other and say "I'm not racist. I;m not a homophobe. He is a racist. He is a homophobe. Im nothing like that. Now, lets turn the middle east to a sea of glass, and uphold god AMeircna virtues, liek marriage is between a man and a woman"

The threat to the world and America is not some fucking preacher in Arizona. Its not Mr. god hates fags preacher. The threat is the peopel who control the army, adn the police, and all your money. those are the real enemies. This shit is just played to antagonize.

Where did you hear that at? I'm not denying it, I'd just like some proof.

Well the original poster cared, so did the news organizations, and you cared enough to respond

The original poster made note that the preacher is a posterchild for the religious nutcase anti-Obama fringe.
The preacher made note of a the war. The war that Obama didn't start... (see 2nd vid 10:15) So now the US military is slaughtering people? gee...

I posted the linky here  It's a CNN story on youtube. And if you don't believe the storylink take it up with CNN, they are the one reporting it as fact, and they depend on being right, like all news organizations do.
Also see the last paragraph here, Phoenix Pastor Draws Protests After Telling Church He Prays for Obama's Death - Political News - FOXNews.com And if you are truly curious you can go to the preacher's youtube page and send him an email, and ask him if the person goes to his church. The church seems to be a small church, so the preacher would be able to recognize everyone.

Anyway back to what the OP was saying. A preacher praying for death? Isn't that just wrong? If it were Obama or your next door neighbor or even for a dictator, a preacher praying for the death of someone is repugnant. The preacher walks a very fine line between free speech and threat, if you ask me.

That bloke is not really showing a Christian attitude. I seem to remember Christ was criticised for hanging around with the type of ppl that 'Preacher' is lambasting.

I've said this before, I know, but it's funny how certain (by no means all) religious people use their faith as an excuse to engage in just the kind of hateful behaviour that Christ decried.

Also, a lot of religious people I've met would be appalled by this man, and want to distance themselves from his comments. Many are very sincere and try to live a kind, decent life.

That's as discriminatory and generalizing as if I said "Arabs really are as insane as blacks." Absolutely disgusting, but because you're attacking religion and not race it's ok in the little black book of "liberal" political correctness guidelines.
