I'm a big fan of free speech and freedom of expression - wherever appropriate and within reasonable limits.
I fail to see why the administration of this site should not be allowed to set its own limits and guidelines, and govern itself as it sees fit. I'm a big fan of democracy too, and maybe it would be nice if members had a voice on certain things, but I fail to see how the board is obligated that way either. I'm not a big fan of anarchy.
The site may not be perfect, and I may not personally agree with every restriction and every decision,
but it's pretty darn good imho, and damn interesting. At the end of the day, I consider myself a guest here.
If I don't like it, I'm free to leave.
Maybe we could have a separate forum where people can freely vent all their frustrations regarding the mods, the administration and how the board is run.
Maybe we could also have a separate forum where posters who make it their mission to harass other posters can bash away at them mercilessly and no holds barred - instead of stalking them from thread to thread and annoyingly taking those threads off topic.
Maybe we could also have a separate forum where posters who want to write posts complaining about the content of a thread could post all their objections.
My suggestions.
