There's been quite a bit of discussion lately about fakers and who's pics are whose. It seems obvious to me that the easiest way to confirm the validity of anyone's pictures and appearance is to go on a webcam. Not a video clip, but live webcam. No faking there.
And I don't buy lines like "I don't have a cam," "I loaned it to my roommate," "it's broken," "it doesn't work with windows," and the old standby, "I'm not alone right now so I can't."
Sure, not everyone is keen about web cams, and I don't expect just anyone to go on cam on a whim, but if someone's serious about defending or their asserting their legitimacy, this seems the most reliable answer, and unwillingness to do it in this situation is a another red flag in my opinion.
