You can't change the past but moving forward you do learn from the past. Karma will balance on its own. It kicked me in the butt. Don't beat yourself up over it, but my read is that you already know that it was not the best move.

Because OP admitted to waiting until his roommate was passed out to make his move on the boyfriend. That's calculated. Then offering him weed, getting him stoned and again by OP's admission made the first move by grabbing the boyfriend's crouch. Yes it's true that the boyfriend didn't have to go through with it, still doesn't change the fact that OP plotted and carried out for the "thrill" without regard for his "best friend's" feelings, which is also why he doesn't want to fess up to what happened. He lives with this guy. People are just pointing out how messy the situation is. That's all.
