Apparently I ate all the pies, lol.

Has anyone else checked the scales since Christmas, seems I've put on two kilos.

My boyfriend is gonna kill me. :-(

Has anyone else ended up seasonally festively plump?

Confess!

Well, this is going to piss you and plenty of others off, but....

I have always had a very low opinion regarding my body. Growing up, I was so skinny that many times, names such as "String Bean, Spaghetti Arms, etc" were hurled at me . I have always seen myself as too skinny and have a very difficult time putting on weight. :frown1:

I've worked out for many years, but consistency wasn't my strong point. When Alpha moved here, we started working out 3-4 days a week.

For the past 2 months, we've been on a new program.

We've already been lifting hard and consistently for the past 3 years, but now besides that, my day consists of constantly eating high protein , high caloric meals, including 3 protein shakes a day. Vitamins and supplements included of course. In the past 2 months, I was finally able to put on about 8lbs.

Well, last week we went to Florida for Christmas. We took a break from the gym. No vitamins and supplements, no protein shakes, and no lifting. We decided it was going to be a "cheat week", and we ate like gluttons, including lots of junk food.

When I got on the scale Monday morning, I found that I had lost 6 of the 8lbs that it took months to put on :frown1:

AARGH!!

With a body and cock that looks as good as yours I wouldn't care a little extra weight.

if you want to lose weight have you tried HIT (high intensity training)? its the new big thing and suggests training in short, intense bursts. so you do a whole workout, with the same benefits, in 7 minutes instead of 45. and you can do it anywhere - no gym needed. google it if you are interested.

I'm already un-festively plump and have gained 2 pounds in the month of December (I weighed myself this morning).

Please pass the pie. (We still have razzleberry and apple in the fridge.)

Haven't checked yet as I don't have a scale in the house and haven't been to the gym lately. Tomorrow I get back on the wagon, but won't get on the scale until next Friday.

I'm a little afraid to get on the scale TBH. My trousers that have a 32" waist fit pretty good, the ones with the 30" waist are a bit snug and I can only get into the 29" trousers if I wear one of these. So I've been wearing sweat pants with a forgiving waist band and continuing to snack until vacation is over and have to get my A-Game together.

I maintained. With my host of food intolerances (gluten, sugar, dairy, red meat), I can't stray too far off my diet no matter what the season is. It sucks when I see all these amazing looking treats that I have to constantly say "no thanks" to, but on the bright side, I don't have to deal with holiday weight gain anymore like I used to. I also keep my workout routine consistent because I get irritable and can't sleep when I don't work out regularly.

I shared the same metabolism you had as a young adult. I couldn't gain weight and was very skinny. When I would work out, I would get ripped but I wouldn't gain muscle.

But when I was getting into my thirties...and my metabolism was beginning to slow down...(I wasn't working out then...) I was happy just having a fuller and more manly body.

After Christmas and New Year's... I didn't gain any weight. I still have my fuller body from my thirties.
