Hello Everyone!

Just found the site. Looks like hours of reading to do.

I am a 24 year old who was a little overweight. I am 6'3" and weighted almost 220. I lost about 20 pounds 18 months ago and started putting it back on again. Now I've started losing it again and am down to the mid 180's.

I am concerned with the 'fatpad' above my penis. My BPL is 8" but with that fat there it's not quite as big as it could be. It's went down some, but being that I've always been a little heavy, I don't know what it's supposed to look like. Does anyone have any examples, of real people not photoshopped actors, what a non overweight fat pad looks like?

When I stand it is a lot better, but sitting down on the loo it seems to be really thick.

Hope this makes sense and I don't sound like a lunatic!

Thanks!

As a Personal trainer, Congrats on the weight loss!
Remember that when we sit, we all have a roll or "fat pad" so don't expect nothing down there.
Can't help with the video, but good luck with your training

Thanks!

I come from a family where everyone seems to be on the heavier side. I don't know if being heavy can be genetic, but I am trying to keep from following.

I don't think I have the drive to get a 6-pack chest, but as long as I can lose enough to not have a bulgy belly and love handles I will be happy.

I know the mid section is the last place to lose weight, and I may honestly never get totally ride of that extra weight down there. My problem is, I can find photos of dudes standing all day long, but I am not able to find what a non heavy person looks like when sitting. Apparently no one is interested in that, except the guy trying to compare after losing weight...

Eating less. I work two jobs so I get some cardio when I am walking around the warehouses.

I am now down to around 182.

I think, I am beginning to notice a difference.

Ha! I'm 5'10" and I weigh about 220 right now.

As mammals without a full rip cage, we have evolved to keep at least a little fat on our stomachs. It helps to protect those vital organs and whatnot. Also, the abdominal muscles control what size your stomach is. Your stomach only has the ability to change size. This is why you cannot digest solid food without a 6-pack. What I'm trying to say is that everyone HAS a 6-pack, it simply lies UNDERNEATH the fat we evolved to keep on our stomachs.

Of course, I'm just a guy with a B.A.

I was thinking that I wanted to start running again because I enjoy it so much. I haven't really made up my mind yet really though. Oh well. It is very cold outside.

that is thin for 6-3" and generally the rule of thumb (or what ever) its 1" of length to 30 lbs you lose...this info has been on Oprah, Doctor Oz...ect..

^^^^Take note that IS a generalization (1" per 30 lbs of fat I mean).

Also, people tend to confuse the concept of "loosing weight" with "losing fat". Simplifying body composition can be dangerous at times.

I suppose I was never 'fat' so to speak. However, I had prominent love handles, I also had a 'dip' where my pants rest on my stomach and above that my stomach protruded out past.

I've noticed my sides (love handles) are starting to shrink up to where I feel mostly bone when I push on them. My stomach is also a lot thinner, I can see the top of the "V" that all the ripped dudes have.

I told myself my goal was 180, but now that I am at 181 and still have a little bit of sides and a little bit of stomach fat left, I may try to get to 175.

What got me the most self conscious is when I walked in T-shirts the shirt would press back onto my stomach and make it look like I had a huge gut!

You could always get lipo on the targeted area but it is useless if you just put the weight back on again. There is another problem to because the skin is stretched from the extra fat if you lose weight it does not always mean the fat pad will reduce it might just droop down and bury your penis a bit more.

I hate to say it but the only real effective method to really reduce your fat pad might be a combination of weight loss then surgery to tidy up the extra loose skin.

Fat pad is last to go. But it will go away eventually. There are no magical tricks. Just patience and diligence about continued weight loss.

Ive lost weight recently (more than 66lb) but I still have a fatpad ..extremely thick (you could see it on my bodypictures)
How can I reduce it? Shamely I cannot do special exercises because I have arthritis in my worthy...
So it is impossible to get rid of that fatpad without visiting the gym...?

Good advice everyone. I am starting to see a noticeable difference by doing nothing. Just keeping up on eating less and things are slowly progressing. I can now see the to of the "V" next to my hip bones. I've NEVER seen that before!

I am hoping if I keep up, by spring it will be drastically reduced.

The fat pad in the groin is typical in most cases of weight loss and some individuals are far more prone to fat deposits in this area than others. Though I am not big on cosmetic surgery as a whole, this is one area where I do endorse these procedures.

Several seasons ago on the television show "Biggest Loser" a woman came on the show and then proceeded to lose virtually another person in her journey. At the end when she walked out on to stage there was not one bit of hanging fat anywhere on her body and there was no apron as she was wearing clothing that was quite revealing.

In order to appear in this manner at the end of the show there is little doubt that after the weight loss had taken place that this lady had the excess skin dealt with surgically although that was never mentioned of course. This of course makes the show a fraud in some respects implying that hanging skin will not be a problem.

A fat pad in the groin is common in men and this is an area that is very easily dealt with surgically and the results are worth the effort. They will do a liposuction in that area removing more of the fat behind the skin and then they remove a section of tissue using microsurgical techniques to minimize visible scarring. This will give more "usable" shaft size to you and as long as you do not regain the weight you will be glad in the end that you did it. The only problem is that this area is a moist area and that will require a longer post operative recovery time to avoid infections at the incision. Good Luck and congratulations on the weight loss!
