I'd say Close Encounters but that was 1977, so when you do this same topic for the 70's, I'll have already given my answer.

LOL:tongue: Only Arnold in Predator can screw the English language so wonderfully with his heavy Austrian accent so thick, you have to wonder how many cuts the director had to get that sentence through perfectly. Beside him being a Governator of California.

Shit, was the 80's as bad for movies as it was for music?! That's about all I can think of of the top of my head. . .Anyone got a list?

For pure "it's so completely awful that it's actually funny/good," Rocky IV is the best movie ever made.

Thank fucking God for Wikerpediar:

1980s in film - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Raiders of the Lost Ark
A Christmas Story
The Dark Crystal
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life
This is Spinal Tap

Looks just like 2000-2008:

For example: We had another Rocky movie a year or so ago. Superman/Spiderman, what's the difference ?
Imagine that, another Batman movie !
Only one Indiana Jones movie this go around vs 3 in the 80's.
Alien vs Predator
Good for the 80's they spared us the movie versions of the tv series.

All in all, the 80's wasn't bad for movies, they just don't have the same level of computerized special effects, Hollywood remade a lot of the 80's films, only digitally remastered.
