Being There

I like lots of movies, maybe I will mention a few more later...but this one stands out as a classic for me...perhaps because I aspire to be like the main character one day.

I like to watch.

Good old Chance. But I love Brazil. That's my favorite Terry Gilliam movie that I've seen so far. Besides The Maltese Falcon though, I also love Half-Nelson, The Lady Eve, The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Double Indemnity, Boogie Nights, Sunset Boulevard, The Bicycle Thief, Intolerance, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, Out Of The Past, The Wolf Man (the 1941 version), A Place In The Sun, Take The Money And Run, Stagecoach (the John Ford version), and Random Harvest.

When I first saw this thread I thought it was NEW movies.... I copied this from another thread on the same subject...

Well in no particular order and no explanation of why, I tend to relate to movies sometimes that are a dismissed by most.
Bringing Up Baby
The Woman
The Young Girls Of Rochefort
Murder Most Foul
The Last Of Sheila
Julia
Extremities
No Country For Old Men
Central Station
Mississippi Mermaid
The Last Metro
Day For Night
Penny Serenade
Backstreet
Imitation Of Life
Madame Rosa
Memento
All About Eve
The Sting
Fargo
What's Up Doc?
Murder On The Orient Express
One True Thing
Alice Doesnt Live Here Anymore
Kill Bill 1 & 2
Sabrina
Breakfast At Tiffany's
Separate Tables
Ship Of Fools
Throughly Modern Millie
The April Fools
Lovers Like Us
Two For The Road
I could go on and on, but if I was stranded on an island I would wish for a copy of Enchanted April and the means to view it

Great movie choices...all favorites of mine too. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

An old movie that everyone should see is It Happened One Night. It still seems so fresh and wonderful. I have mentioned this before but can't recall the thread...maybe this one. LOL
