Well even though the show itself is pretty corny Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie is fucking awesome. Feminism would never allow a show like that to be made today.

A smoking hot babe with magical powers who only wants to serve and please her master. How sweet is that?

Probably my favorite all time tv though was early black and white The Andy Griffith Show.

The Office (US version)
Transformers (original)
Neon Genesis Evangelion

I must preface this with the fact that I haven't watched Television for about five years, so I don't know any current shows.

Without a doubt these two stand out for me.

- The Prisoner (60's) - "Who is number one?"

- The League of Gentlemen (90's) - "This is a local shop, for local people"

I also love the Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart (though I only get to see Global edition these days)
Doctor Who (new and old Tom Baker / Peter Davison era)
Ideal (dunno if this will ever hit US screens, or if it would work - but here's a link)
A Bit of Fry and Laurie
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Not the Nine O'Clock News

EDIT: Argh! I forgot the Young Ones! (and Bottom to a slightly lesser extent - but still a LOT)

33 posts in this thread and no mention of The Sopranos yet! It's the best show this century!
I'll never tire of Twin Peaks or anything with Chris Morris (The Day Today,Brass Eye,Jam).
Curb Your Enthusiasm also deserves a mention.

The West Wing, Fawlty Towers, Top Gear and most BBC factual docos spring immediately to mind. To be honest though the box is often one I rarely actually sit and watch it.

Used to watch ST Enterprise occasionally to lust after Jolene; what can I say.
