Won't Get Fooled Again
okay...is that actually a song??

who's it by??

And am I gonna get scorn and derision heaped on me for asking???

In short shall I prepare my umbrella!?

:umbrella:

I would have thought at 30 and being from where (I think) you're from you'd have come across the Who and heard that song - but maybe it didn't make an impression.

YouTube - Wont Get Fooled Again

And Hick - I'm still waiting for my reggae version *taps foot*:wink:

Summertime is one of my favorite songs. I sometimes cruise YouTube looking for the most interesting renditions of it. Here are some of my recent favorites, not counting some of the classic performances by Etta James, Billie Holiday, etc.

Fantasia Barino nails it on AI.

Orthodonist receptionist Leona Lewis on Britain's X Factor building on Fantasia's version

I discovered this one just tonight. A Brazilian girl with really good audio equipment and a really smooth jazz arrangement. She sounds like she listened to Astrud Gilberto a lot. I love how she settles right in with the band and takes her time on it. I also like how her face can make an entire video all by itself.

Finally, some really hard work, but it is worth hanging in with this one to the end, where the histrionics grow large. See if you don't become an instant Hiromi fan.

Then to get ready for a nice sleep, zone out to Hiromi's Green Tea Farm.

From the Heartland of America. This is WOHIO, 97.7 FM, with jazz all night.
