We are unfortunately in an era where daily updates and scans for viruses are important.

I originally posted this thread, this f--king scam hit me again.
I was following a link posted on this site.
Anyone think that LPSG could be fostering the scam?

Moderation cant monitor every single link posted for a virus. However, you can monitor every link you click. If it isnt a known site, dont click the link. Porn sites are reputed to have virus' on them.

Get active protection, click carefully. If you dont mind extra hassle, get noscript + adblock+ with firefox/chrome.

It has nothing to do with this site. It is malware from the link you are clicking, accompanied by your lack of security on your computer.

As lovinglife said, there is no way to monitor every link on here. You can prevent most of your problems by:

Keeping your antivirus up to date.
Using a 3rd party ad blocker (especially if you like those type of sites)
If you use windows, block ads with the hosts file.
Use common sense - a high percentage of those types of sites have malware - be careful.

The more you understand how malware works, the better off you will be.

By that logic, if you're a millionaire, you could just look at child porn all day long and pay the fines whenever the FBI busted you.

Take a moment, think things through, see if they make sense, THEN act.
