Bernie won't be around in the end as the deep state don't want him as they can't control him.
In the end the American people won't vote for socialism. But keep up your wasted hope.`

There is no such thing as a "deep state" - it's quaint that you think there is. Bernie's biggest problem is going to be Bernie and his inability to support anyone or anything but himself. We're still waiting for his taxes FROM 2016 and he is still at heart a cranky old man too interested in ideological purity to build meaningful coalitions to win a national election or to govern if he does accidently win. Yesterday the Post called him the "trump of the left," and not in a positive way. I'm hoping he changes course somewhat to be more viable, but it remains to be seen.

I can't stand the way WaPo covers him.

I don't see him the way they portray him. Doesn't support anything but himself? He campaigned for Hillary after he lost, didn't he? I dunno.. I just don't see what you see.

I do want him to release his taxes.

Bernie has done some serious good. Absolutely. He worked hard and effectively in the mid-terms, and has set the table so to speak for regular conversations about advancing progressive ideas. If nominated, I will support him 100%. That said, like them or not, the views in the Post reflect what a lot of people feel - rightly or not - and need to be addressed by Bernie is how he moves forward. It's early and the juries are out. I am hopeful, given his organization's fundraising abilities that he sees these points as an opportunity to broaden his base. We will see.

The views in the Post are also part of why so many progressives are turning away from them. I still read. I don't trust.

They don't make up stories. They do have a corporate bias.

You said, "There is no such thing as a "deep state". If you think that your not half as smart as I through you were.
