I don't mind showing in most cases but occasionally I don't want to show. That is when I will wear a jock strap under my briefs. The older I get the less I care if I show. So the times I "cover up" are rare. I'm definitely not embarrassed that others know or can see. I do have sympathy for large breasted women who don't want the attention. I'm married to one.

Depends on the situation. If im around my buddies from high school or college and someone brings it up, no worries. I was just recently at a college reunion, and there were lots of us catching up. Standing around, there were about 7or 8 of us guys along with 2 women. One of my buddies brought up my size completely out of the blue, and the 2 gals abruptly left the group, and of course all the guys howled in laughter. I was totally embarrassed, and turned 3 shades of red.

If I was making-out with a girl and I had a chubby, I'd sometimes twist myself around in a way so they wouldn't be able to feel through my pants how big it was because I worried they would think that I must be some sort of sex creep to be so horny as to have such a big erection.

There was a "people knowing you're big" incident back in my school days, and it was awkward because I didn't realize schoolmates were circulating that particular information.

During a health-related class the instructor was pointing to a diagram, a cut-away drawing of a penis and vagina. The instructor said a penis couldn't possibly reach the end of a vagina.

Several classmates, both male and female, immediately snickered and turned their heads in my direction. I was surprised and embarrassed. So...some guys had been sharing stories about what they'd seen in the locker room!

The instructor soldiered onward, reiterating that a man's penis couldn't reach the end of a vagina, emphatically growling "no matter how endowed he might be."

That provoked open laughter. More eyes turned my way, and someone 'coughed' my name. To my annoyance, the instructor gave me the stink-eye, as if I had committed some offense against him.

In a sophomoric way, I suppose it's amusing. But I still wonder where the instructor got that idea that a penis can't bottom out, and why he thought it was necessary to emphasize it. Seriously, what was the instructive message supposed to be--don't be gentle??

It wasn't about me, but about one of my friends. He is somewhat anti-social and uncomfortable dealing with people and that is the first thing people say about him, but someone always follows up that remark with some remark about his giant dick.

I had a girlfriend in college who would show me off to her friends from time to time. It was both embarrassing and arousing--it's hard to describe. But aside from those women who I've slept with and the male friends who have seen me in the locker room, nobody else knows what's hanging between my legs, at least since I passed beyond my slutty stage of my youth, where I'd wear tight jeans without underwear. I've learned from experience that if you tell most people that your cock hangs better than 8" people just roll their eyes assuming that you're just full of BS. So I just keep it to myself for the most part.

Not at all to be honest, my mates are always making some comments or references to my size when we're out drinking. I love the attention and stares at my crotch from the women

I think it's more a matter of some people I'd rather not talk about sex, cocks or, specifically, anything about mine. Once I am comfortable having actual conversations about sex with someone, I guess I don't usually care at that point. But, whether they intimate or just humorous comments on penises, there is a hurdle to get over on with each individual or situation.

Just recently, I was over at a friend's house and his niece (32 years old),was there. I know all his family well. I have gone to the gym with her uncle and a couple of her cousins. Just out of the blue she says, "so, you have a huge dick, I am told". I said, "who told you something like that?" She said that it was just something that she heard. I asked her "what else have you heard?" "Oh, nothing", she replied and grinned. She then said, "I know I couldn't take it". She has 3 children, so it is not like she's a virgin.

This was kind of awkward for me and the others in the room.

I later asked one of her cousins who had seen me naked if he was the one and he said, "No, I wouldn't talk to her about something like that". I asked her Uncle and he said, "Hell no". So, it is the other cousin. He has no room to talk as he has a long, fat uncut cock. He is about 30 y.o. He has the thickest foreskin I have ever seen. It is a very handsome dick. He must have been comparing. So, I made it a little awkward for him the next time I saw him.

There were a few of his cousins and friends all gathered. I said to him, "So Juanita told me that you said I had a huge dick". He looked around and sheepishly said, "I guess I did". I grinned and said, "That's ok as I take it as a complement coming from someone who has a dick as big as you do". He turned beet red. Him being a ginger it was more noticeable. Everyone laughed.

I’ve never seen this as an issue, here’s nothing I can do or would want to do about it, it is what it is. If people are talking about it and don’t believe me that’s their pargoative I don’t have to prove them wrong no more than I’d have to prove right someone who knew I was well hung.

It’s not on display (unless I’m feeling naughty...) as breasts are on a woman or height or shoe size or anything else that might be bigger or smaller, it’s private. So I just except it and embrace the hell out of it!

It doesn't embarrass me at all really or make me feel awkward, there are some social situations when someone may make a comment about it to someone i've just met (and the conversation wasnt even about dicks) and its like seriously dude, chill about it for a second lol. Other than that, its just nice to have the attention, especially female attention and I take the comment and reactions in my stride.

Generally? No. Specifically? Depends on who says what in what context.

I did feel awkward about everyone talking about it and looking for it and when I was young. #myeyesareuphere
