Hallelujah to your comment on the non-headliners. They can make the money without the burden of paparazzi. And I often pay more attention to character actors in old movies than the "stars". Consider Eugene Pallette, Robert Morley, Edward Everett Horton, Edward Andrews, or Conrad Veidt. They aren't names that come to mind readily for everyone, but they made a living and you'd probably recognize every one, even if you didn't know from what movie immediately.

There is a huge difference between being a character actor during the studio system era (Horton and the others mentioned) and being a male model. As has been discussed in other threads, only the most A list of male models gets enough work at a high enough rate make a good living on modeling alone. I don't know about Instagram modeling, but unless someone is an influencer and using multiple resources (e.g Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube) making a living this way might be difficult without a very large fan base.

I had not heard of Ferreria until he showed up in Reyheim's orbit, but he is certainly gorgeous and worthy of all of this attention. I hope all of this is a slow build up to Ferreria getting his porn scene cherry broken by RS, but I don't know enough about his work in Brazil in terms of any negative impact on his other source of income.

You have to take a lot of photos and do a lot of smaller jobs before you become big. Don't talk down on people for not being famous enough or lucky enough to skip the early/mid steps. People do a lot of cheap underwear brands, living in small apartments with 5 roommates, taking jobs with trash to good photographers, giving years of their life before they land a big gig that makes them the next Bella Hadid, especially if they're not living near a fashion capital.

I'll never understand trashing someone who's dick you trying to see.

You're totally correct about the studio system era. I should have given more contemporary examples. Here's a list of contemporary examples anyone would recognize (even if they are less fun): The 100 Most Sought-After Character Actors in Hollywood - IMDb My point is the same though: that lots of little jobs can pay the bills, especially if you acquire a reputation for dependability. But it is by no means a reliable route to success, as you state.
