His worst posts have been removed, though it looks like he hasn't been banned . . . yet. Doesn't make much sense: why postpone the inevitable?

That just goes to show the hypocrisy of the fkrs. They (Trump & Co. their supporters and shills) are quick to talk about small government, too much government interference, the rights of neo-nazis to parade through a city's streets and the "religious liberty" to discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community,

but when it comes to the silent protests of NFL players, for example, or a woman's right to govern her own body, or defining for the entire nation what THEY believe should constitute a family or a marriage, they sure as HELL don't mind dictating policy from the pulpit of the White House and their red state legislatures.

And that's when it becomes incumbent upon concerned citizens to put equal or greater economic pressure on the NFL whereby it costs them even MORE to cave to those whose goal is to shut down legitimate displays of silent protest.

The article is right. The rule amounts to compulsory "patriotism." Next they'll be arresting citizens for not placing a hand over the heart.

REAL patriotism IS protesting injustice.

Hey Mr. Mall Security and other members of his klan, perhaps you can share your views on this?

Chief welcomes family to view officer’s body cam in viral arrest

Police didn't release the body cam footage to the public, but did allow the family and media representatives to view it in person.

Journalists report that from the body cam footage, the traffic stop didn't start in the driveway, lights were flashed on the road and the kid pulled into the driveway afterwards.

He somehow believed that pulling into his father's driveway was akin to touching home-base in a game of tag and that he couldn't / shouldn't be ticketed for an infraction because he made it home before stopping the car.

He then pitched a fit about being written up for a ticket and things escalated from there. When you start your police interaction in complete dumbass mode, it's difficult to cry foul when things go south.

P.S. He also did not have his driver's license or any other form of identification on him when asked to provide it. The officer started writing his info down since he had no ID and the kid tried to blow him off, exit the vehicle, and go inside his house. This was on the body cam footage.

All the articles I saw said was that the family "could" watch the cam footage, not that they have.

I take any involvement between LEOs and black drivers with a grain of salt. When you are accused of driving with a suspended license because you own a car you start to question certain actions.

I have more posts in the police misconduct thread than I can count. I definitely have no blind trust of law enforcement.

But there is no shortage of dumbasses out there and being black doesn't make someone inherently immune to acting like a complete idiot when pulled over. "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes". This kid's a doofus :p

Yes, kneel to Trump is exactly what they did. More articles on the subject:

"When then-San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick decided to kneel in a peaceful protest against racial injustice, it was also a manifestation of one of the most fundamental “freedoms” in our country—the freedom to dissent."

"Since that time the NFL has received blowback from certain sections of its fanbase, including ... Donald Trump."

"Haymarket Books posted this not-so-cryptic reminder of the history of fascism dressed up as patriotism."

In 1934, a German football team was banned from playing because they wouldn't give Nazi salute

........................

"Steve Kerr, coach of basketball’s Golden State Warriors, said the NFL’s decision this week to ban peaceful protests during the national anthem is nothing but “fake patriotism” used to scare people."

"“I think it’s just typical of the NFL,” Kerr said. “They’re just playing off their fan base, and they’re just basically trying to use the anthem as fake patriotism, nationalism, scaring people. It’s idiotic, but that’s how the NFL has handled their business.”"

Warriors Coach Steve Kerr Calls NFL Ban On Protests 'Fake Patriotism' | HuffPost

..........................

"... civil rights groups and community leaders rallied Friday morning with a unified message of their own: Athletes have a "right to kneel."Protesters held signs and spoke in front of the NFL's New York headquarters demanding the league reverse its "dangerous decision" for next season requiring any player who ventures onto the field during "The Star-Spangled Banner" to stand."

""I'm not here to talk to the NFL. They have already drawn the line in the sand and they have doubled down on us," said Tamika Mallory, a Women's March leader and black activist joined by members of the National Action Network, the NAACP and other civil rights groups."

""They own these young men in their minds," she added. "The slave owners have said that if the slaves get out of line, we will show them. ... The question is: What will the rest of us do about them putting the slaves in line?""

Occupy Democrats
I’m assuming you’re trying to insult/bait me, but I’ll reply nonetheless, however, keep in mind, I will reference Texas state law, and USSC law.

An officer may require the operator of a motor vehicle to exit the vehicle. (PA v Mimms 1977). Therefore any resistance to a lawful order to exit the vehicle may be met with legal and lawful force to gain compliance.

The officer in this situation was FAR more patient and reasonable than necessary to effect the result he was lawfully granted.

Even if a suspect disagrees and believes the officer is wrong, voice that opinion, make it known, but comply. THEN, in the end, in a courtroom setting, the subject can smear the officer and the department, enacting major changes and winning a major lawsuit.

Many citizens on the street are completely clueless when it comes to case law.

Your ignorant replies regarding what we deal with demonstrates your sheer ignorance of reality.

Touché.
Well, you must be proud for “liking” a post that was so over-the-top racist it got deleted, posted by a poster who was so over-the-top racist he got banned.

And you don’t say “touché” about your own comment. Saying touché implies one’s opponent made a cutting and apt dig at oneself. I doubt that was your intent.

I will unabashedly admit, I am not familiar with the specific post you reference. If you could educate me with the text, I’d be happy to provide an honest response.

There was some KKK guy in here for a few days until he got banned. All his posts were deleted because they were full of racist remarks about black people. I don't have any of them screenshotted, but they're saying that you liked one of them.

Oh. Well, I’m ashamed to admit that I may have “liked” something he posted because of his apparent prejudices, however everyone has a fair point on occasion.

That’s the best statement I can offer.
