How do you ladies feel about T & A being so commonplace in movies (and now also subscription TV series) but a penis sighting being slightly more rare a Sasquatch photo?

I realize any woman can pretty much see a dick any time she wants by just asking, but in the context of watching a show, is it maddening and/or frustrating that boobs sometimes just appear out of nowhere for no apparent reason, but great lengths are often gone to to keep a penis from being shown? Do you feel cheated by not getting your peek at the goods? Does the obvious inequity of it all piss you off? Both?

As a male viewer, I sometimes find it more distracting how much trouble they go through to hide a weenie in a scene, especially in a sex or shower scene with a woman right there exposing everything. It’s just so contrived and unrealistic at times with the shadows, positioning, strategically placed objects, etc.

I also wonder if we just had penises “out there” in mainstream media the same way we have breasts and female bushes, it’d take some of the mystery away and a lot of guys would be more comfortable with themselves.

What are your thoughts and feelings on this topic?

Cheated of “seeing the goods”? Definitely not. But when there’s a great deal of maneuvering to hide the actor’s penis, it can be distracting. The same goes for any nudity. I mean the sheets have an “L” shape - covers a woman up to her shoulders, but only goes up to the man’s waist. And who gets out of bed taking the sheet with them? Perhaps I’ve been getting out of bed wrong all these years.

There’s just too much focus on the sexuality of the nude body. Breasts are just breasts; a penis is just a penis. But I totally get actors not wanting to get naked on camera. They’re just trying to tell a story on camera, but there’s going to be millions of people freeze framing, saving, and dispersing the nudes for masturbatory pleasure.

I really can't see me backing a "more dicks in movies" platform.

Ideally, people will get over some deep seated issues and nudity will no longer be a cheap stopgap for lack of film making skill/story development.

This. Read it a few times for good measure.

I’d also like to see nudity desexualized in mainstream film.
So what if there’s a flash or floppy bits, any gender?
Don’t make them the point, in showing or obscuring.

I think men look for peen more than women.

I think I agree with the sentiment behind the post... gender equality, would it normalize nudity and increase body acceptance, etc... but naw, I don't need to see more peen. If anything, I'd rather see less boob and bush, especially when it's not needed for the plot, or maybe just seeing bodies that aren't perfect when they're bare.

I don't like it!

If there's nudity and they're showing women, I want to see men, too! Including their dicks!

I think it isn't fair to show women, imposing it on me, and don't have the courtesy to provide me with eye candy.

I also don't like that there's inequality about the looks of male and female actors. If they think all actresses in a movie have to look like supermodels, give me male supermodels, too!

I want more cocks in movies/series. And balls and male butts.
