I think that Archie will marry Betty. Veronica doesn't need Archie. She will find her own man.

Jughead will probably be a Food Network TV personality but moonlights in fetish porn as a well-endowed stunt cock. Reggie he'll be one of those TV personalities like Ryan Seacrest but he will come out of the closet after falling in love with a Peruvian farmer while on assignment for CNN. Moose will be a trans.

Admittedly I had a few issues of this comic which somehow got into the mix of the 600 - 700 I had ultimately collected before I stopped reading them. Don't know how I got 'em... probably in trades (yes, we used to trade comics).

Anyway, always though Veronica was hotter than Betty, and Archie a dolt. (Jughead's laidback style was more to my liking).

Actually, I am going to say Betty.

The Lodge's lost all their money when the stock market crashed and Mr. Lodge had to go work in the soda shop.

Veronica, now being poor, doesn't know how to accept it and her true personality shows up. She turns to prozac to make her life have more meaning.

Betty, always the one with her head on straight (except when she day dreams about stalking Archie) has always been consistent and nice.

Archie, graduating from college as (I'm guessing a mechanical engineer how else could he keep his jalopy running for 68 years) has a high paying job with a company the Obama administration has picked to help rebuild the infrastructure of America.

Just my two cents. Anyone else wanna speculate?

I love Archie and the gang. I grew up reading them...not sure how I got started, I think either my sister or brother read them and gave them to me when they got bored of them...and to this day I still love reading them, haha. I still have a bunch in a box somewhere. And sometimes when I'm checking out at the grocery store and there's one at the checkout, I'll buy one.

Though it'll be really weird to see it "end"...I mean, that's the whole point of the comic! But I am totally Team Betty, even though I'm a total Veronica.
