Welcome back Jeremy. I was beginning to wonder if we needed to send out a search and rescue team.

Yes, I too have wondered where you and mom have been, and why do I have an overwhelming urge to re-read William Shakespeare's Oedipus Rex?

Ummm... perhaps you should re-read it considering that Sophocles wrote Oedipus Rex not The Bard from Stratford-Upon-Avon.

You are quite right! I stand corrected. Appearantly I fell asleep during the Greek Classics section with Homer and Sophocles, not to awaken until the prof reached the shores of England. But the sardonic wit remains intact.

I don't know. Did Shakespeare even write Oedipus, or was it Sophocles?

Oh, and it's Oedipus Tyrannos. Oedipus wasn't a king.

ET TU BRUTUS...er Pappy and FootLongTeen. This thread is diverging from "Phallic Gigantia" into the Classics? Ha, and they say our U.S. schools are going to Hell in a handbasket.
