Dennis J. Kucinich. Poll is well set up because it confirmed what I already knew. Got his sign in my front yard.

That's a clever little engine tool. Thanks for sharing it!

The candidate that I happen to most agree with wasn't even among my top 3 choices. I'm going to look more into his campaign.

funny how you have two dems and two repubs tied for second and or third. shows how its possible they are close on issues in the first place, and possibly just pick a party to run they think will get them elected. (namely guiliani, used to be pretty leftist, but is running right...go figure) Goes to show they are all just a bunch of freaking CROOKS just jonesing for power. grr...what is it gonna take to just get an honest citizen to run this country? Id give a kidney and part of my liver for a good honest, whole hearted, american loving citizen to run.

Below are the candidates ranked by how much you agree with their stances.

My Results:

1. Obama, Biden, Clinton 59
2. Richardson 57
3. Kucinch 56
4. Edwards, Gravel, Dodd 54
5. Guiliani 33

I am horrified that Guiliani made it to my top 5! :aargh4: The first 3 though are correct, after that I really don't care who is in the race. :biggrin1::cool:

Chris Dodd (for whom I'd never vote, BTW)

Followed by:
Dennis Kucinish (no vote here, either);
Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden & Barack Obama all tied third.

I'm an Obama man myself.

And who the fux Duncan Hunter? He and I only agree on Energy.

Like wise Dodd, not knowledgeable about him.
If there were such a thing as a primary vote, I thought I would give it to long shot favorite son Gravel, I volunteered on his last senate campaign.
I'll vote for the Dem nominee in November, I expect it to be Hillary.

Interesting little engine! Some of the results and the agree/disagree items surprised me a bit, but not many. My top three and bottom three:

Bill Richardson: 51
Hillary Clinton: 43
Barack Obama: 43

Fred Thompson: 12
Mike Huckabee: 12
Tom Tancredo: 7

Not surprisingly, the item I most agreed with the Dems and disagreed with the Repubs is the marriage amendment. It was a bit of a mixed bag, but I disagreed with most of the candidates on the Iraq issue.

Of course I'm not eligible but, as an academic exercise:

Chris Dodd: 52
Denis Kusinich: 50
Barack Obama: 45

Fred Thompson: 3
Duncan Hunter: 3
Tom Tancredo: 3

I disagree with my top three on Immigration, Iraq, Stem-Cell Research, Death Penalty and Energy.

On my bottom three - everything except Stem-Cell Research.

Interesting, indeed. My top five are people I wouldn't consider voting for in any stretch of the imagination...even more, my "agreement scores" are far lower than what most of you seem to be getting. I know I can be a disagreeable sonofabitch, but what gives?!?

My top 5:
Romney - 32 (Biggest douchebag in the race, IMO...would be the last I'd vote for)
Giuliani - 28 (Second only to Mitt in douchebaggery)
Duncan Hunter - 28 (Never heard of him)
Tom Tancredo - 27 (Never heard of him before the GOP debate last week. Still know nothing about him)
McCain - 24 (Deranged chipmunk, Iraq apologist / warhawk. Can't stand him.)

My preferred candidate, Ron Paul, is tied with Bill Richardson (score=20) as a distant tie for 7th place. In a four-way tie (score=13) for 11th place are Obama, Clinton, Edwards, and Biden.

Perhaps these scores are indicative of how little I have in common with the majority of the American electorate at whom these particular issues are aimed.
