Hi all long time lurker and thought I'd start joining the conversation.

So did any of you found out later in life that you were larger? How did it change or not change things for you? Was there a mental adjustment period?

I ask because I only really find out I was larger than average 5 or so years ago. I know it sounds silly but before that I just thought I was average at best.

My partner finally convinced me a few years back. Mind you this was already 7 years into our relationship.

It's a real weird thing to get your head around ask of a sudden. For example I am 5'4" and it's like finding out I've actually been 6' tall this whole time. I kind of feel happy, surprised, skeptical, confident and insecure all are the same time. It's also led me to reevaluate a lot of past experiences and left me with some questions.

Anyone else have any experience with this? Would love to hear your experiences and how you navigated this new knowledge.
