jonb, I see that Wally World is offering Xandros OS on some very cheap ($199, w/o monitor) desktops.

Is that a Linus system?

It&#39;s freeware; just pop a blank CD into your CD-RW and burn a copy. (I know "free" sounds bad, but in my experience, "amateur" is actually a compliment in computing.)

Oh, and while we&#39;re here, it&#39;s pronounced lin-ux or lee-nux, not lie-nux.
