First date in three years!

On friday 12th September I will be going on my first date for three years, and my first after getting rid of my abusive husband, and am feeling VERY NERVOUS!!!!!!

What should I wear? How should I act? Should I shag him? etc.......

HELP!

Relax and let it go as it does. Don't make any set plans on what you want to do.. or else it will seem pre-planned. Just take it where it goes. This is a new beginning for you and it's going to be great.

this is what I told a friend of mine who recently had the same experience:

relax...you're just gonna spend a little time with someone you like & who likes you...have a little food...maybe a drink or two...and just have some fun!

don't be nervous...

don't overthink the situation...

definitely do NOT mention your ex...

let the past be in the past & don't let it affect your future...

I wouldn't have sex on the first date, but that's just me...

sex can really complicate things...

regarding what to wear - wear whatever makes you feel super attractive & confident...trust me, it pays dividends!

Good luck! :smile: Wear something form fitting that showcases your best feature. I'm assuming your breasts. :wink: Go light on the make up, but use a nice gloss. Moist lips always work. Treat yourself to a mani/pedi, scrub, facial, etc., a few days before the date so you feel good in your skin.

It's getting nearer (tomorrow, Friday 12th) am getting more nervous but also excited! Have read all your posts with interest and they are all great - thanks peeps xx

I have had my nails done and have sorted out what I am going to wear so that I don't panic last minute! I'm going for snug but comfy in the clothes department and never wear much make-up anyway so shall just 'jazz' it up a bit!

We have talked and texted each other quite a bit so thats a good start.

Anyway, as soon as I can I will let you guys know how it goes, and whether he needs to join this site! Ha ha ha !!!
