Some are quite ambiguous, referring not to 'genitals' but to 'flesh.
Two refer to 'semen' or 'seed,' but the others refer to 'issue,' another very ambiguous term.
Still, it's an astonishing verse.
At least she's not coveting her neighbor's ox.

Remember that men/women who wrote the original text of the Bible wrote in the grammar of the era in which they lived. The NIV is far from the most accurate translation. The NIV translators took some liberty by translating this verse.
The original word which they translated genitals is " basar" pronounced "baw-sawr" simply meant the body of a man.
Using the original text this my translation:

By the way, with reference to the OP and the title of the thread: I don't recall where Exekiel fits into the ancient chronology, but the era of the kings begins at most 3,000 years ago, not 4,000.
