I drove down to San Diego and went to Blacks with a college roommate. Not too many people there at all... And then he chickened out and never took his shorts off! I was pissed. Here is my story about my first time at a nude beach. I lived in Scottsdale, AZ at the time. My good friend and roommate Bob and I were partying at a club on an August Saturday evening and had been drinking for hours. He had this strange, impulsive notion to leave the club as drunk as we were, drive over to San Diego, and check out Black's Beach the next day. I had never heard of Black's and asked what was so noteworthy about it? He told me it was a nude beach; I said "Let's go!"
It was still dark when we arrived in SD. We passed out for a few hours in Pacific Beach. When the sun burned through the marine layer, we woke up, had coffee, and drove 7 miles north to Black's, hiked down the cliffs, and there we were. It was the peak of summer, and the beach was packed.
Neither of us are shy with being nude. We had skinny dipped in pools many times. We set down our towels, removed our clothes right away and wore nothing the entire time. Neither of us were the least bit uncomfortable; It was exciting as hell to be naked outdoors with hundreds of other naked people everywhere I looked. Being that we were guys in our late 20s, we boned up as we walked toward the ocean. We laughed about being hard and charged into the waves. The water felt so good swirling around all my parts without any clothing. I was hooked. The ocean was warm and we enjoyed body surfing au natural.

I spent several Sundays at Black's this past summer. Even though I live 3 blocks from a textile beach, it's worth the effort to go to Black's. We were meant to be naked on the beach in the summer. I'm glad that it's only 7 miles away. Can't wait for summer!

The first nude beach I visited was Shell Bay near Bournemouth.
I went with my then girl friend, we took a picnic, went by bus and walked from the ferry.
It was a gorgeous day and the place was quite busy, we settled down near the dunes and stripped off.

I went to Hanlan's beach on the Toronto Islands, and I was all by myself because I hadn't the guts to ask someone to go with me. I got there, and it was about a thousand times nicer than I expected - it doesn't feel at all like an urban beach - and since everyone else was naked, I pretty much had to take my clothes off or look like the creep who was just there to perv out on people.
At first it was awkward, but after ten minutes or so of seeing real human beings naked (as opposed to models who have been photoshopped to within an inch of their lives), I felt a lot better about me and my body. And I felt a lot better about other people's bodies too (say what you will, lumpy people look better naked than in speedos).
Unfortunately, Hanlan's has sort of been discovered by the hipster poseurs, and few of them seem to have the guts to take their clothes off. So these days it's common for less than half the people at the only nude beach in Toronto to be nude. :s

I was 21, went by myself. I'd always been intriqued by public nudity and was keen to hang out with other people naked. Initially I wore a g string, however that was quicky removed even though I spent the rest of the day between partial and full arousal. That was it, I was hooked. There were lots of other people there, I walked around the each both looking and being looked at.
It's 20 odd years ago now and I don't recall being the youngest there, but sadly these days you hardly ever see anyone under 30.

I was alone at Orient Beach in St. Martin. It was a first, so I was not exactly sure what to expect. I had a great time walking around freely and just enjoying the atmosphere. There were not that many young people there my age as I would have liked, (perhaps because it was off-season), but it was a great experience nonetheless. I will be returning with friends the next time I go.

It was Brighton, a lovely warm day but was spoilt by the clothed tourists/voyeurs who constantly walked up and down the beach staring at us.

My first time was at that same beach! My husband and I were visiting Toronto and we went to the islands for some fresh air and recreation. We hiked around and rented tandem bikes and all the sort. We didn't even know there was a nude beach there until we stumbled upon it. The idea always sounded fun to me. It wasn't the nicest of days so there were literally only about 4 other people on the whole beach. I said I really wanted to see what it was like to be naked on the beach. Exactly the same for me, also solo visits! Haven't been down there for three or four years, as the weather's been so unpredictable and it requires and early start and a late return home. Must try and get down there again! Let's hope that summer 2013 is a bit better than recent years.
