I don't know if he came from a troubled family, but it isn't a prerequisite for a drug problem. A difficult childhood may contribute to the likelihood of addiction, but one shouldn't assume that it's the cause. Meth is so uncontrollably addictive from the first exposure that people with adventurous spirits are quickly ensnared under the guise of a "try anything once" attitude.

There have been some posts about how nice he is. Realize that when you fantasize about a guy in a photo, you're projecting on to them the personality you want to see in them. And articles about models' personalities are basically fiction to stimulate those fantasies. Having fantasies is fine, but to believe them is delusional.
