I really want flawless skin and I was wondering if anyone know what I should do. I want the movie star skin that is even, and clear and clean. What should I eat or buy to have this done?

Well I would just tell you that you would be amazed at how bad some celebrities skin really is. Without knowing what the problems are I would suggest seeing a dermatological specialist. Aside from that keeping your skin clean and hydrated is the key. Use a mild soap or cleanser and a moisturizer that meets your skins needs. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep every day.
I just looked at your pictures you don't appear to have any visible skin problems...

Celebrity skin is almost the same as ours, it's just that the cameras don't show it. It's hidden behind a lot of perfect makeup.....

Eat deep sea fish three or four times a week. Salmon works, but gets a bit boring. Remove butter and dairy from your diet and start using olive oil for everything. Steamed vegetables and raw vegetables are rather miraculous once you've eaten nothing but fresh fruit and vegetables for a month or more. You'll definitely see a major difference. Stay away from animal fat. Clean your face with a good quality olive oil before washing it. The alternative is old-fashioned Noxema skin cream. Stings like Hell and a lot of people are allergic to the menthol, but it works, but so do most cold creams. An occasional exfoliation with something as simple as a ripe avocado whipped up with the juice of a lime or lemon works just as well as the expensive products you waste your money on. An avacado mask allowed to dry on your face for an hour twice a week really does work better than just about anything else. And bathe in the evening (shower in the morning) with a couple of table spoons of good-quality olive oil thrown into the bath water as well as a couple of table spoons of Epsom Salts. The salts have a positive effect on laying waste to most of the bacteria that harbor in your arm pits, crotch and feet. Over time, you'll discover you don't need to use as much deoderant. Also, avoid detergent soaps like Zest, Irish Spring, Dial, etc. Camay is a reasonable substitute, but you'll find cleaning your tub/shower and wash basin to be a big issue on a daily basis. Some, not all, olive oil-based soaps may work for you. Soaps with a citrus oil base are also excellent (but cost a bajillion dollars). When in doubt, use glycerin soap. Doesn't last very long, but it does a good job of cleaning human skin without drying it out.

Something very important: use a freshly laundered wash cloth every time you shower and/or bathe. Don't keep using the same damn wash cloth for one for a week. This also applies to those who think that their six-month old loofa is still good. It isn't. You're just re-introducing acne and body odor causing bacteria to your skin using the same sponge or wash cloth over and over.

Recently my old girlfriend from college visited The Squeeze and I. She is three weeks older than me. She looks 20 years younger. Everyone was amazed at her soft and WAY white skin. A guest at dinner asked, "What kind of skin cream do you use?" to which she replied "Money."

I take 3 vitamins: A, C, and E.... I wash my face, moisturize, use sunscreen and avoid the sun.

But the most important thing you can do for your skin is to exercise.
The act of sweating will clear up your skin beautifully.

I try and keep pretty good care of my skin and have an arsenal of information just out of health concerns.

Good luck bud.

In addition to the great advice offered by others:

Drink plenty of water (aim for a gallon a day). Being hydrated helps your body get rid of impurities.

Stay out of the sun and apply sunblock liberally. I use at least SPF 45 at all times when the weather in warm. People look at me strange on the beach or golf course, but I get told all the time that I do not look my age. Neutragena works best for me.

I use facial products (Clinique For Men) to scrub, exfoliate and moisturize my skin. Your local department store should have a Clinique counter in the women's section. Have them test your skin type and recommend products to match. Never put lotion on your face. Ever.

Good luck.

Good sunscreen (something broad-spectrum - it's gotta have Mexoryl, Helioplex or Titanium Dioxide to be truly broad-spectrum). Every day on the face, ears, neck and back of the hands.

No smoking. Smoking is hell on skin.

Regular facials - extractions on the blackheads, exfoliation on the places that need it.

Personally, my skin looks best if I use something with beta-hydroxy (salicylic acid) - it's got both skin-clearing and anti-aging effects.

Plenty of sleep. Meth addicts look pretty haggard, but it's not just from the drugs.

Lex: You smooth-skinned piece of lusciousness -- I'm going to send you a case of avocados to try. Plus, you can always use them to make guacamole. :biggrin1:

STOP USING ALL FOAMING CLEANSERS and SOAPS! The water reacts to the sodium laurel sulfate stuff (the foaming agent) and there begins ALL the problems. A friend got me started on www.fanie.com cleanser and it's UNREAL. The best! Or, use good old Noxema to cleanse and shave with, follow it with a toner like witch hazel or sea breeze with salacylic acid and use a moisturizer (like J&J Clean and Clear) that's oil free and has 2% salcylic acid. Try to avoid the glycolic acid stuff. www.gendarme.com had/has a Skin Conditioner that is the best toner EVER.

Have you ever wondered why people say my skin was never sensitive? LOL I believe the companies know about the problem and it helps them sell more treatment stuff. Hmmm

It's not possible. The human skin is so complicate we can't even begin to understand all the things that go on with it. I've just accepted it, some days my skin is radiant, and some days I hate it. Now with that said, I do make sure I drink enough water and STAY AWAY FROM THE SUNLIGHT, sun rays are harmful to our entire bodies causing all kinds of disasters from sun burn to cancer..it's just not worth being in without protection..and that's only if you really need to be in it "like at the beach" or something.
