They ended it because they wanted to I think.
Seemed hard to come back considering the second season finale, where they were deported back to NZ
At least it wont be dragged out, only ending after an extended period of sucking

I think they are involved in it quite a lot.
I remember them talking about how much work it was to get a tv show done.
Its mostly an extension of their characters, so they would write their own lines I guess, maybe having some help to develop plots and lines for other characters

I just assumed since it finished a while ago, at least where I live it did

its on such random times in the UK i was buying the DVDs. they right the characters as they were playing them on their live shows back in NZ

to me .. they seemed to try 2 hard'

THINK the Americans in particular took to them because it was a change to the Comedy they are used to.
