That's what happens when you centralise all the money, it gets wasted by the elites and their chums. We call this 'champagne socialism' in the UK, not sure if the U.S use that term.

Edit to add: This is why I prefer a system that redistributes surplus funds to individuals. Then, if they wanted to spend it on schools, hospitals and education for the poor they could do so directly, not pray that the state is going to do it for them.

Would you like to provide some links to actual information to explain whatever the hell you're posting about?

Maybe you'd like to review the rules about starting new threads too. There's a sticky at the top of the forum.

Really? Where on the internet? Are you sure you don't mean "internets"?

Or maybe it was on FM ray-dee-o as OtterJoq suggests.

Good, then you know what a complete failure your OP is.

Well, if it's Fannie & Freddie they want to talk about, then maybe they should also look at where the money was coming from -

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are now operated by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), a governmental entity that in July issued 64 subpoenas “to determine whether misrepresentations, breaches of warranties or other acts or omissions” were made by lenders who sold loans to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. - http://www.realtytrac.com/content/n...-the-coming-wave-of-foreclosure-buybacks-6184

That means JP Morgan Chase and the Bank of America, if we need to get specific on just a few of the culprits. It's been said many of times before, but it deserves a repeat... Always follow the money.

Nice headline. Is there an actual story?
And why wouldn't the government pay the legal fees for Fannie & Freddie? They're owned by the FHFA and in the process of potentially suing banks for selling fraudulent loans on their behalf.
