Question: Does anyone else have this. I noticed the other day, after a haircut (head hair), that one of the follicles had like, two hairs next to eachother, or worse, in the same little holething/follicle. I wondered, and upon further inspection, there are many more cases of that down below. Does anyone have this or know why this happens?

    Foley,

I apoligise for being an idiot, but what do you mean? I understand that you want to know if this "problem" occurs in your genital region, but I have no idea what you are refering to.

Tis not a problem, but just more of something I noticed. U kno how hair looks, something like this: / (normallly, hairs don't stand straight up ;P) Thing is: \/ or l/ Very Bisarre. Its basically just two hairs that break the normal patern and are really really close together.

I have an eyebrow hair that is like that. My brows are blond and the damned thing is pitch black so I'm always pulling it out. I don't know how common they are but it can't be too abnormal.

I noticed i have a few of hairs like that to. Im not sure how you 'treat' your area but i though for me it was because i shave all mine off, occasionally i will get one that looks red and irritated but i just pluck one hair before i shave and its fine after that.

I don't think it's of any consequence, I have noticed the same from time to time my whole life.

Interestingly (or not) this is refererred to in the Babylonian Talmud, so clearly it's nothing new. Concerning whether a girl is of an age to marry or a boy is obligated to comply fully with the Torah:

"....If one had informed us of the law of the follicles it might have been presumed that [puberty is not established] unless there were two hairs in two follicles respectively, hence we were informed that even two hairs in one follicle are sufficient. But is there such a phenomenon? Is it not in fact written in Scripture...."

It's completely normal for more than one hair shaft to leave a follicle.

Wow, nice observation foley. To answer your question, yeah, I've got several of these, too. They're everywhere. I don't think it's anything to worry about.
