Perhaps I should start double checking to see if my chicken is ready all the way:frown1:
Poultry is the worst for giving people food poisoning. I would always prefer it to be overcooked to be on the safe side. If it has been frozen never cook it until it is 100% defrosted.
I always cook chicken until I know it is done. I cook most things past when they say it should be just to avoid this thing happening and wash all fruits and vegetables very carefully. I use a collander which i run cool water over the fruit or vegetable for several minutes and move it around with a freshly washed plastic spatula that you use for putting icing on a cake.
This is off-topic, but maybe you should have a look at this group:
rawpaleodiet : RVAF Raw Veg and Animal Foods Group
They eat everything raw!
I'm very sorry for your misery Tom. May you recover quickly!
i have had it probably 4 times in my life...each time totally sucked...firing from both ends.
Erm, is food poisoning a culture shock?
